Clare MI Show Aug. 17-19th 2007

Do you have any of the current small black stars for the middle of the bumper? Also how much for bumper numbers such as "101ABN 5/8FAR and C19" for a deuce. I think it is 3 inch and the same for a Cucv except change the c19 for C5. I think they are 2 inch. Thanks Chuck

    Rusty fuel tank problem(s)

When I worked at a radiator shop in the late 80's we did a procedure that lined the tank and had a lifetime warranty. It would seal all the pin holes and it would also seal the rust in. I would check with a good radiator shop and ask if they still do this.

The first pics of my HEMTT project !

Re: RE: The first pics of my HEMTT project ! When I was at Fort Campbell we had one off our gun trucks get stuck while trying to leave a firing position after an all night rain. The 15000 lbs M198 howitzer is quite a drag on the five tons. We had 900 series five tons with a winch because of...

I need some M105 landing gear

The way things are going I should be able to wait until then no problem. After that it will probably sit for a couple of years until I get it put on the trailer. I tried to get a cheap 105 to part out but they went too high close to home. Thanks Kenny.

I need some M105 landing gear

Anyone parting a trailer out, I need the cast piece that the landing leg attaches to between the frame rails on the A frame. I talked to Kenny about his from his rusted out buffalo but it sounds like he is not parting it for a while. Pm if you can help. Chuck

ETHER KIT for PROPANE INJECTION USE???

The ether kit has a temp sensor that will not allow the valve to activate unless it is below 20 degrees. You could bypass it but when you push the switch a measured amount of ether is allowed to stage in the valve. You should hold it for a few seconds. Then when you let go of the switch the...

    M103 trailer brake question.

I finally got around to checking the brakes on my M103 Trailer. Everything went great and the brakes worked fine. I did the check from the -14 that had me putting a small stick into a hole on the Air pack to make sure it was moving in and out. It worked but all the holes on the air pack were...

    Trailer Wiring for Deuce

How may axles had brakes on your trailer. I was thinking that more axles would pull more current. I am going to check the draw of my trailer before I put together my set up. I got an old large multi path relay off ebay and I have a 10 amp converter. I had thought about putting a 12 volt battery...
