The BIG thing about the brake bleeding is that some of these truck have sat for years with no use. And this is the main reson for the need to bleed them , it's not a every day thing. And also keep in mind that most of these truck are 30+ years old so there is alot of crap built up in the master...

The local sheriff here got 4 OH-58A's back in '96 or so. They then sold off 2 of them for a spot light or some thing like that(big stink). They still have 2 of them that they fly.
I got mine for about $1,100.00. But the transmission was gone, the clutch and flywheel were shot. The fuel tank was full of some kind of crap , and the fuel filter were cloged with said crap. The new ones are too. It has NO power I need to use low range to move it. I think it the fuel filters...
I'm in AR too and have 3 truck with the antique tags. They too tried to tell me the truck was too big/heavy. But the ONLY thin about wieght in the law is that you can not carry more than 1000lbs , NOT that it could. And as far as cheap to renew, well there is NO renewal on the antique tags ...

There is a dealer outside of Kansas City that is the supplier for the KSNG that has bems for $50.00 I think the last time I was there. They are in Lawrence KS I think they were deka batteries. They also have the military battey cable clamps in stock. 1-800-223-0962
Not all pedals have the notches. My '87 did not, I was woundering why the pedals seems so much higher on that truck. After looking under the truck and others I found that it had the pedals higher and did not have the adjustment notches. They do now thought.
