I would not worry. It should be 1" or so above the full mark cold. I think like some where around the "E" in check on the dip stick. Now if it keeps going up than worry:wink:
if you don't check the oil with in mintue of shut dow, It will show above full. If you check it cold IT should be above the full mark. Does the oil smell like fuel?? Bypassing the FDC will bump up the fuel and make a big difrence in power and EGT's.
Come on guys. This is a great place for a rally it's in the NE corner of OK so it close for you guys in MO KS OK and AR. The park has water ,elec, showers rest rooms. Lots and lots of trails. Camp fires at night.What more can you ask for.
Mine came from OKC mid to late last year sept-oct or there abouts. The one I got before that was great too. IF it weren't for the 2 forklift hole's in the radator:evil: But it did have less than 3,000mile on a overhaul of some kind:-D
P/S does call for 10wt eng oil. Thats what I put in mine but if Bkubu says p/s fuild will work I'd trust him.
As for the grear oil yes 80/90 G/L5 Transmision would need a oil that meets the MT1 spec some 80/90 GL5 does and some does not. it will say on the label MT1 or yellow metal safe.
