    dual wheel cylinders

Maybe I'm not following you, but I don't think that'd work too well if pressure wasn't equally distributed between the two wheel cylinders. I think you'd be much better off dividing axles into different circuits. I'm just wondering if this might offer any increase in braking performance.

    Taller Gargo Cover

If I was going to build a custom cargo cover, I'd almost definitely make it a pop-top. You could make it so that it's not any higher than the top of the cab when you're driving, but then would have plenty of room inside when you get wherever you're going. If you made it like an Alaskan Camper...

    srodocker's "little" project

Looking good Scott. Or you could plumb it into the exhaust, or route it through a CCV unit like this. Either of those options would also eliminate the need to re-route the slobber tube up to the snorkel if you ever want to install a fording kit.

    dual wheel cylinders

I was just crawling around under my new M103A3 trailer yesterday, and noticed that there appear to be two hydraulic wheel cylinders inside each drum, instead of the S-cams used on our deuces. Why are the trailers set up like this? Are those brakes self-adjusting? Are they more/less powerful than...

    Gasser Cab Removal

Anybody have a link to the -30 manuals handy?

    Gasser Cab Removal

I haven't downloaded the -30 manuals yet, but I looked at the -34 manual and it was hard to tell from the illustrations what order things need to come apart in. Does the -30 manual explain that? I'm just wondering how much of the box I'm going to have to disassemble, and whether I can do that...

    Gasser Cab Removal

OK, thanks. I'll check out that manual, but it's good to know that I can remove the column from the box. After I replace the cab and swap-in my new LDS engine, I'm going to remove the stock steering box and install a full hydro steering setup. So I'm not too concerned about how the box comes...

    Gasser Cab Removal

Really hoping to hear that there's some other way to remove the steering column. No way to disconnect it from the box?

    Gasser Cab Removal

I'm in the process of replacing the cab on my M109 with an NOS cab that I picked up a while ago, and I've got the whole thing stripped, except for the steering column. I can't lift the cab up and back because of the M109 box. Do I really have to remove the steering box? Ugh...

Somebody's got to have put one of these on a dyno, somewhere, sometime...

I need an enclosed trailer to tow behind my Deuce

I haven't decided what type of assist-mechanism I'm going to use on the rear door, but I'm leaning towards something like a torsion-type garage door spring. I do know that I want to be able to lock the door into position when it's horizontal, so I can use it as an extension of the trailer deck...

I need an enclosed trailer to tow behind my Deuce

I ended up buying an M103A3 trailer from Brad up in WA. I think this is going to be a lot better platform for me to build-on. It'll end up being a little bit smaller than my M353 uhaul trailer and it has a lot more ground clearance, so I should be able to take it more places. I've spent the...

    KLR250 Value?

Unless your interest in motorcycles is limited to MV's, I would pass on that. There are just a lot of motorcycles out there and whether you're looking for something more on or offroad-oriented, there are a lot of other bikes I'd rather be riding. What type of riding DO you want to do?

1980 813 five ton (EXPERIMENTAL PROTOTYPE)

If that's a serviceable engine, I would rock the **** out of it! Love the idea. Sounds like it was a common engine that was somehow converted to survive the high temps. Wonder what-all that entailed, and whether other engines (like a Cummins 6BT) could be converted in a similar fashion.

Looking at trading my muscle car addiction for something a little greener...

I'm not too far away from you (Morgan Hill). You're welcome to come down and take a look at my truck. Would offer to take you for a ride, but I'm in the middle of an engine and transfercase-swap.

Yeah, but the concept is solid.

M818....I'm trying a new way to put a bed on it...

If/when I get a 5-ton tractor, I'm definitely going to build a bed like that for it. Great idea.

    which generator/s for motorhome project?

Thanks for all the feedback guys. Looks like I'm going to want an EU2000 in addition to whatever larger generator I might end up getting, so I'm going to work on getting one of those first and I'll continue looking into larger generators.
