Look for the -20 or-34 TM. These are the maint TM. The -10 is the operator's manual. The maint manuals have a great trouble shooting section that will take you through checking all the systems by checking inputs at the glow plug card. The manuals are on the site.
Here in MI you can drive the truck home without a plate within 48 hours of getting the vehicle. You can drive it home and then to the Secretary of State office (MI DMV) to get it registered. I did have insurance but no plate until after I got it home.
Re: RE: New Guy trying to get some Info?
You do not need a CDL if you are not using the truck to make money. California has a non-commercial endorsements for larger trucks but you do not need a CDL. Feel free to check my other rants about the CDL thing.
The bottom line is that I have checked...
RE: M1009
As said, remove the negative side of the front battery first. Then you can remover the positive of the same battery. I also remove the negative side of the back battery. When I was working on my glow plugs I found that just removing the front battery negative side will still leave...
You have only cut the output of the module. It is still functioning and the only thing it is not doing is tripping the solenoid. The light is still wired to the module. The light is not wired to show when the glow plugs are active. It is for the module telling you it is ok to start the truck...
Check Teds Trucks or do a search for contact information. He is selling some solargizers that got wet. One of mine had a little corrosion but not to bad. I think they were $15 or $20. I got a couple at that price. If you go ebay they go for about $75 the last time I checked. The military ones...
The are designed to desulfate the plates more than charge the batteries. Don't know what voltage is normal but I could check my deuce if need be and get back to you.
I found out my son has a mandatory campout with the boyscouts so I have to make sure my daughter wants to go. If she does then I will still be going. Hope to see you guys there.
There was a guy at Thunder over Michigan last year that had some really good dummys. I had his card but lost it. I seem to remember that the price was not too bad. Anyone that was at the show know who this guy was? He was set up on the fence between the encampment area and the airpark.
When my son helped me load the ringmount into the back of my excursion he was silently trying to picture both of us hauling it up on top of the deuce. It took about two hours until he asked me about it and I reminded him we had a front end loader on the tractor. I think he was really worried...
This is how most all cars get the different speeds on the heater fan. There is a resister with a matrix of several resisters that provide different voltages to the motor based on the switch setting used. When the blower motor will only blow on high usually the resister is bad. I am pretty sure...
I have got one of those sandblasters also. I have yet to use the pressure pot blaster but I need to do some spot blasting on a cab for the F-350 then I should be able to do the deuce later in the year.
