While I messed around with my 10k I could not get it to fire. It was getting spark and the plugs were new. I cleaned the carb and it still would not work. Even either would not help. I have not had a chance to get back to it but I was able to see that the fuel pump was working. I have not tried...
RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Pics of M1009 laptop mount
I was originally thinking about just making the dash bracket into a shelf type of deal but then I thought about making a mount for the jotto desk and it worked out great and I can remove it when I am not traveling with my GPS.
Mine has been starting in all weather down to about 10 degrees here. I have not had to hold the pedal all the way down yet. Half does me just fine. I am running two 6tls and it cranks great all the time.
RE: Re: RE: Pics of M1009 laptop mount
I knew I should have taken the pad down for the picture but I figured my son is in the shot too and I did not move him. I wanted to show you guys my softer side.
Oh yeah, the note pad is my daughters and it has a magnetic backing on it so it fits right in on the radio dash mount. Also, no "Do you know how I know your gay?" comments about the kissing monkeys.
Anyone that does not know about this statement must see The 40 year old virgin.
I have no knowledge of online game play or SS chat sites. I am a beta tester for the local county wifi initiative so I may have the ability to surf all over town when it is fully implemented. Most of the time I could just drive around in any town to find an internet connection. Most people do...
Yes, I do have experience with typing while driving. I am sure Kenny does too. I really wanted to start a pool at my department to bet on the first person to take out a mailbox while trying to chat on the computer. Oddly enough, the console from my first patrol car is going in my other cucv when...
I put in the regular Reese type hitch from a civy blazer. You have to take off the square tube bar that mounts to the frame on each side to strengthen the pintle hitch attachment. I then cut the bar down do fit inside the civy hitch between the sides. I welded up the ends of the bar with a grade...
It does help. As luck may have it I have driven by the Warren plant several times. I could go in person for about 30 minutes driving time. I will post when I have made any forward momentum.
Hear are some pics of an M-60 I came across in Ypsilanti Michigan. One of my M1009's can be seen in the background. Incidently, does anyone know how one get a loan of one of these from the government for display like this? I would love to try to get a project together to get one for display at...
I am way late but some people wanted to see my laptop mount. I have a jotto desk that I use in my excursion. I took the top part off and mount it to a bolt that I built into an L shaped bracket. I then put in a metal shock bushing to get the right size for the jotto desk to clamp to. It moves...
RE: Getting 52 M35 6X6 need checklist for title acquirement
Some states will not take a salvage title and some salvage titles will not be able to cross over to a regular title again. This is to prevent vin swapping on stolen cars. Be very carefull with this deal. Why is it on a salvage title...
On most gas engines with carburetors there is a small pump inside the carb called an accelerator pump. When the pedal is depressed a shot of raw fuel is sent down the throat of the carb. This bypasses the normal jetting. Without the extra shot of fuel the carb will go lean and stumble before the...
RE: Re: RE: some pics from the show..
Curt,
I was asked if I was a GLMVPA member. I am sure you already know, but they told me they are considering parking all of us in the GLMVPA together. Sounds like a good idea to me. When the day gets closer we need to coordinate so we will know each...
RE: some pics from the show..
To all. I know I stired the pot but do not contact the airport management about the situation. Some seems to have done so and it seems to be causing problems instead of helping the cause.
Go and enjoy the show to support the rebuild of the Yankee Airforce facility.
