Well, now to see how it drives. Needs all new rear brakes before it gets driven. I did an add a leaf and an EZ Inch from DIY4X and the tires clear the box cross member but I'll still do some clearancing.
The diameter of the rear axle is bigger. It takes a ubolt with that same radius. If at all possible, get the spring ubolt plates from the donor burb as you will need them.
On the original design, the air assist cylinder was vented into the slobber tube. At some point an MWO was introduced where it was removed and simply had a check valve installed on the line after it was bent like a J. Yours obviously hasn't had that MWO. The brake fluid is a sure sign that...

Found these a while back on eBay but can't find them anymore. Found smaller plastic/Chrome cheapies but not these. Anybody seen such a light?
Parts trucks are fetching near $2000 at auction these days. Maybe he is flipping it, maybe he bought it for a pittance. Bottom line is a decent minimal rust truck fetches that all day long.
I agree with both posters. The plywood and 20# of grease works but is sometimes finicky. Removing rolling stock works better but is more work. Eventually you need the equipment and experience to change a tire, might as well gain it in the yard rather than along a highway.

If you use a small piece of hardwood, just make it to where is just fits in place. Once you start unbolting the pressure plate, the spring pressure will lock the wood blocks in place.
