Sadly, I did nothing with our Deuce this week.
I'm having withdrawals.
Hopefully, I will at least invest some LABOR on it this Labor Day Weekend.

Also look for algae in the fuel tank.
A SHORT run time would be about right for enough algae to completely foul the first fuel filter. if you crack open that Fuel Filter Can and there is a light brown slime you will need to THOROUGHLY CLEAN out the algae and CHANGE the Fuel Filter Element. ADD...

It IS an older 5-Ton as already verified. Some of the "dead-giveaways":
- Longer Hood than a Deuce.
- Longer Fenders - note the LARGE OPEN SPACE behind the front wheel. (The Deuce has nearly uniform clearance fore and aft of the tire.).
- 10-Bolt Wheels (already mentioned).

That photo of the aft view seems to show - I'm sure it's an optical illusion - that the clearance between the propeller blade-tips and each other, and with the fuselage may be nonexistent. Realizing the scale dimensions are most probably quite authentic, I'm sure...
It sure looks tiny among it's younger generations.
But let us recognize that that one... yes the little one... stands tall and honorably as the war veteran, one much nearer the GREATEST GENERATION which continues to salute and bring noble recognition to all those who have served.
