Re: RE: M818 Transfercase help I tried it in low and high looked it the linkage under the truck as someone eles moved the shifter and it seemed to be working ringht. It may be the shaft. How hard is that to replace??

RE: M818 Transfercase help Yes the air was up and it made the right sounds.Putting the tranmision in grear would keep the sort shaft from moveing.

Went to pick up my M818 to day. Got it started ok, every thing looked good underneth. Went to pull out and nothing happened. Tranmission and clutch seem fine. Sorth shaft truns freely with the tranfer case in high , low, and nuetral. Shifter moves freely and has good locks in all detens. GL...

Faxed mine on the nght of the 14 Aug got them back in the mail 4 Sept about 13 working days.

I got what was said to be a used one from Army surplus of Dodge city. It seems to me to be NOS or a recore it was $700-$800. TNJ Murray have them but after 3 weeks of calls to them I gave up and went else where too spend my $$. Most of the other dealer were $1100-$1300 for new ones. I plan to...

I got one from them last year and it was cheaper than anyone else for a new pump.

It sounds like to me they want the $$ before the EUC's clear. This is for Demill B and Q thats EUC stuff. So you pay then wait and wait and wait. They will have your $$ and you wont have **** till they get around to sending in the euc's

The aircraft tugs are on GL all the time, get one of those. They also have alot of extar wight on them for better traction.

Just becarefull around the radator.

The L.O. calls for 10wt oil.

You can get a some MIG welder that will do the sheet metal up too 1/4" for not too much. They come in 110v and 220v. You can use them with and with out gas. I perfer the Argon/CO2 mix ,It does make a big deferance over just CO2. If you arc welded in the past the MIG will be easy for you to use...
