I'm not sure. It will likely be a combination of what I am building here regardless though, just different shape and size, since it is the core objects that are required to do so.
For any rally's I would attend, I will bring this with me for others to use with no "deposit", since it won't walk away. Free to diag your system, still $40 to reflash any pressure changes though. Just trying to recover the communication adapter cost with that.
Donor CTIS module, with cover removed. There are a total of 4 boards in here, one is LED's for the touch panel. It is non-serviceable, meaning the ribbon leads connecting them do not unplug. Contents were discarded (likely working), and CTIS control box is being used to fabricate an in-line...
Get a running start and post a video!
The inbound trailer will have small wheels on it, which will not be conducive to a gravel upward slope. They will want to sink and that will put a lot more load on the pull than the trailer weight alone. $3k is a lot of money to give away to rent...
Hi Jim. I'm in Livonia. I should stop by with my 23,000lb 925A2 rolling through GP. Shouldn't get any attention, right? Welcome and good luck. I posted the first M35A2 I bought on CL for sale before I even bought it, to make sure I was able to get what I wanted for it. Hence my name, and...
Found a pictorial link of the trailer build I showed in the first post of this thread. Looks like they used an M35A2 rear suspension onto an existing trailer frame. Mine will be a little different, in that I am using the entire rear truck as-is, and fabbing my own trailer tongue via bending...
Slight hang-up. The truck side CTIS module connector can not be disassembled to add terminals to it. It is epoxy filled on the back side where the wires insert. So, I am buying the correct Amphenol connector and replicating what we need...
For a home-made trailer in MI, they just want a weight slip. $75 covers trailers up to 2500lbs, $200 up to 9,999lbs, and $300 for 10,000lbs and over. This is empty trailer weight.

I'll keep updating this thread as I do the work. You guys can do this, it is easy. Even if not activating the ABS or CTIS, just buy the back half of a scrap truck, cut the rail, add a hitch, and done. You could even just pay a local welder to do the work, it should be relatively cheap...
I also thought of multiple cores, especially since the heater box is so large to be able to accommodate it. But, my concern here is the volume of airflow. It seems somewhat low to begin with. Adding additional cores will reduce this further again.
My heater had poor performance, and it...
We'll see. It's a science project. It should hook up just like an air brake trailer to the back of the 925. Service and emergency. I believe the air brake system works off pressure and not volume, so it should work as designed/intended.
I want the trailer to be as close to the truck as possible, but not contact each other in a tight turn or when backing at an angle. So, I have some math to do in order to know where to cut.
Once I strip the spaghetti off the frame and cut the rails to length, I will then notch the horizontal...
Bought it. Starting platform is a 923A2 with hardware removed from the t-case forward. Full frame rail length, will shorten and bend into an "A". Looks like I will have something to do over Christmas.
I'm finding conflicting info on if 5T (A2) CTIS rear hubs are grease or oil lubed bearings. Looks like grease inner and oil outer?
I'm converting the back half of a 923A2 to a trailer, and possibly retaining the CTIS since an A2 is a single channel CTIS system it should not know the...
I think a $700 deposit will also act as a filter to separate the people who just want to play with it vs those that are serious about diagnosing their system.
The set pressures could be different per vehicle, wreckers may be higher, so it depends. I can report mine once I have it interfaced.
I want to, but how do I get a $720 adapter back, and in a timely manner? Once I received it and have it operational, maybe I'll loan it out with a full value returnable deposit of $720, for a 1 week period. Still want to help members here, but not sure how to make sure it comes back. That is...
