If you don't find a key you can get an ignition from Fleetpride or NAPA and replace the old one.
I had to do that with one of the M915's I bought.
The keys are like CUCV keys......one size fits many.

It sounds like raw fuel by be getting into one of the cylinders due to a bad injector.
Have you made sure the air flow is not restricted? Check the air filter and make sure there is nothing to impede the air getting to the cylinders.
Have you checked to make sure some "diesel doctor" hasn't...
We convoyed from New Jersey to Nebraske and never stopped at the first weigh station....we did pay tolls.
I drove Bighurt's M915 from Alabama to Nebraska and never stopped at any weigh station.
Just roll on by the stations and act like you know what you're doing.

The 900 series 5 tons are coming out of Shelby in droves. They are getting cheap.
Everything is bigger and heavier than on a deuce but the technology is newer.
It depends on how much work and money you want to put into it.
You lose the multi-fuel capabilty of the deuce with the Cummins.

Another thing to consider on these trucks is the 2 stroke, high compression, V-8 Detriot diesel that powers them.
If you have the Jake brakes on while driving in icy conditions and let up off the throttle the engine compression can cause the wheels to lock up. This was true on commercial...

My big mistake last year was not having enough shirts for the fa........errrrrr.......not enough "plus size" shirts. That will not happen this year.
Last year I ordered 250 shirts and eventually sold all of them. This year...
Could be the bearings in the turbo going bad.......not a good deal if parts get sucked into the engine due to a catastropic failure. Take the air intake off the turbo and run it for a minute to make sure that's not the issue.
