Right or wrong, when I assemble these I install the small seal right into the spindle aft the bearing then the big seal and washer on the axle shaft. Also, for those changing out spindle bearings, I use a Snap-On pilot bearing puller. This works great.
While I can offer no assistance with the heater, I would like to share this. There was a guy at the GA Rally last year that had an M887. He removed his heater and installed a window shaker a/c in its place. It's low on the list but something I want to do. Guess my point is if you find yourself...
Aside from the pure mechanicals of it, the 3.73 gearset will hurt performance. The anemic 6.2 needs that gearing to do any heavy work. Not only will the 700R4 better reduce RPMs at highway speed, it will also increase power at the wheels during takeoff thanks to the 3.06 first gear.
Consider tongue weight. You need at least 10% and the way the truck suspension is situated, you might have to toss a spare or two up on the frame in front of the bed. Other than that, should be find. There may be some lessons to learn in this thread...
At your leisure sir. My fear is that the steel support will no longer support the upper berths. My kids sometimes sleep up there. At some point I just need to open mine up and have a looksee at it!

Transfer Case; your NP208 will have a 32 Spline input gear. The 700R4 will have a 27 Spline...
I have Anderson connectors on many items. The M1010/ambulance even comes with a yellow 175A Anderson in the patient compartment. There are color standards for Anderson's dealing with volatage but it isn't always followed.
I think your approach to this purpose is sound. As you save your sheckels, keep reading about these and other trucks. There is a bunch of information to digest. I can think of a least one member who decided upon a deuce and then set off to read every thread in the deuce forum. He was likely...
Initially and just to run, you need power to the top cover spade of the pump. The wire color in the harness is pink. Can't help with cold advance and idle as I'm driving
There was a large lot of cans disposed of a while back that had a major problem with the inner coating flaking up. I have been full circle with cans. Started with steel, went to Scepters, traded all those for steel and now back to Scepters. I don't like the swelling of the plastic but absolutely...
