How to Replace Side Marker Trailer Lights M1101/M1102

I can't help with getting them off but is there a reason you need to change them? They may be omnivolt and would work with 12V stuff.

Trimming advice / pattern for 35"??

I'm not sure you can trim them and have them look good. That's likely subjective though! BTW I'm moving this to the correct CUCV Modding forum and merging with the other thread of the same topic.

    M101 tires?

The 255/85R16 is 33" tall. Somewhat close!

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

Instead of adding more DBs to drown out other DBs, I just filter out the bad DBs and add the preferred DBs. I use ear buds.

    M101 tires?

Height isn't a big issue on a trailer as you describe. Just about any 16 light truck tire will work. Check the other threads at the bottom of this thread for additional info.

That was cessnatwin's goat. Maybe it was an unauthorized temporary appropriation.

    m1008 straight pipe?

Is there any functional purpose for these stacks on a pickup or are they in the same category as 32" rims on an 80s Caprice?

New Member, buying first M1009 Tomorrow (HOPEFULLY)

Welcome to the mix and thanks for your service. On to the truck. As built with the 3.08 gears, you will likely not see a noticeable difference in fuel mileage by going with a larger tire. With that said, you can shoehorn a 33x12.50 on the stock rims with not much effort. As far as deleting the...

    PapaBear's New M151A2

I've been beating my head trying to remember when I was at MCLB. I'm thinking it was 94-96 and when I was there, they had a sea of M151A2s ready for demil. I need to go to Maccus land to find a nice rust free example.

    m1008 straight pipe?

Operationally, you should be fine. It will look odd, subject stuff and folks in the bed to burns (unless running them out the hood) and collect rain water but it is your truck.

Been 20 years or better since I've been there but that looks just like MCLB Albany.

    M1010 Seats in M1028?

You might be stuck with some fab work either way so those might just be the ticket. Just the same, I will try to document seat mounting on the M1010 for future users and just because.

    M1010 ambulance box build reference

The green roof crossmember near the back door. I know it's steel as mine is rusting from a roof leak it had (for years likely). This supported the rears of the upper litters when suspended. It this all one stamped piece of steel and does it look like it can be removed without dismantling the...

    M1010 Seats in M1028?

I'm going to try to help a little but not sure how much. The M1010 seats are different than the M1009 seats. Now this is just the seats themselves and just info to digest. The M1010 seat does not nor will it ever recline to get that optimum position depending on how your back feels for that...

    M1010 ambulance box build reference

Hey Skinny, can you take a few additional pics of the roof member towards the rear that supports the litters in the up position? I may need to replace mine. Is this the only steel part of the box? Thanks for this useful thread.
