Works really well Pinsandpitons and if folks happen to NEED to search for three letter combinations like PCB (start box) will work that way - when the search engine here says "The search could not be completed because the search keywords were too short, too long, or too common."
I too...

Yes Sir. Using the "Report" button should make that happen.
I did that and explained why - and it can't hurt if more than one of us ask to have it moved.

Note sure about the M756a2 but I do have drawings of the electrical system for the Deuce.
Also have the list of Wire Numbers and what they connect to.

Hello William and Welcome to the outfit !
We need to move your question to the HMMWV section. (One of the Moderators can do that for you)
Just GUESSING, but that seems to be the motor you are working on?
You will get a lot more "traffic" about your post there. There are folks here who can...

FWIW, changing the cab from what you have to one of these just seems like a royal pain. Those nerf bars though seem like the four "bolt-on" connections on each side might be enough. Another bar up high seems smart - but it does make you wonder WHY they didn't include it. Army has a lot more...

Duh. Sorry. I didn't READ the part about signature. I just automatically ASSuMEd that you were talking about your avatar.
Just for the heck of it, I tried using a HTML link to see what happens.
Back in a minute to see if it works.

So, it seems that a HTML link will make a...

Well, there is no argument with that and it makes good sense.
Makes it where a enterprising youngster willing to work at it might find his way off-base and "go to the hardware" to pick up replacement parts. Funny how that works. Doing something like that and occasionally trading parts won't...

Might be too many pixels (this file is 720x480 @ 96dpi and it is a 24bit image).
Or, try opening the image file on your computer and saving it again with a new name.
Your avatar file should be about 400x400 pixels.

Before you close up the rear gate / window and call that a job completed, it needs to be lubed. I have read several posts from @cucvrus mentioning proper lube and of course not forcing the hand crank. That way you won't be doing this same job again in a few months...

I was shocked too! We had chain falls on a track - and 4 of them could lift a 5-Ton - but that isn't much help. I remember replacing 5th wheels on our road tractors and it was done with a single chain fall. Don't remember working hard to lift them either. Looking at the picture and...

So, I don't know for sure about weight. I just Web Searched "M1088 5th Wheel Weight" and came up with a NSN (part number). Not necessarily what you have and this weight includes the shipping container. I was pretty shocked with what it weighed!
From Part Target
Container Size: 42.7 X 36.9...

Well... I guess it makes this your official Wecome to the Outfit!
Making Power isn't my thing, but chances are good that some of the guys who do know will drop by and help out. Be sure to go download the Technical Manuals for that MEP. Doesn't cost you anything and they will have flowchart...
.
Looks like the guys got you fixed up with where to download the (Free) TM's. There are flow charts on how to do things like bleeding brakes and replacing the powerpack / brake booster.
You could have crus and corrosion inside the master cylinder that has slowly stopped up the little pin...
