I don't know anything about Eastern but if you sell on the internet fairgame for comments +/- on the internet.
Noted on Eastern website they SOLD a M35 to local emergency services. What kind of deal is that. Couldn't advise the cop/FF that they can get 50 M35 at no charge from DOD surplus???
Really????? You better at the "Carnac the Magnificent" routine than the many generations before you? Ever do any reading of history? You see what nonsense that "never again/war would be to terrible" is.
We are unprepared today to fight a "real" war. We shot that wad in Desert Storm and...
There are going to be several S280 and S280 size shelters at Camp Dodge (not reutilized thry DRMS).
The 2nd group is a style I have not seen before, have approx 3" in and 8" up "step" along left/right lower edge. Otherwise same as S280.
Someone owns them. If the business went bankrupt the court assigned their assets to someome. Get advise from your Co attorney before doing something dumb. The storage charge might be the idea.
As stated ballast the rear. Obviously A few thousand DOT dump truck snowplow with tandem duals in the US that work well. Add chains as required. And very few are 6x6. Were moving the snow with the blade not driving thru 8" of it.
A few decent Mil dumps come thru the DOD system. But dang...
Anyone ever tried converting something like an M915A1 as a snowplow?
My small town needs a plow to break the deep globall warming we've seen the last couple years. Our Dodge 2500 is just not up to a 2' drift a 100ft long.
We have a good Henke 12' blade/hitch/hyd pump. Looking for...
Have tried thei LST325 website and google but find nothing about her/their route or schedule in the next couple weeks. Apparently going back to Evansdale IN home.
Anyone have info?
Going to try to fire up the electrical system in the shelters I got for our Co Communications board this weekend. These are actually print shop shelters (darkroom/typeset in one unit and print press/paper cutter in the 2nd shelter).
To the right/curb side of the door on exterior is a milspec...
How about "reduce" for shipment?
Certainly wouldn't do for transport by air. If the AF gives up one of their precious birds you're not going to load empty trailers on it and they certainly aren't going to wait for you to load a bunch of disassembled trailers on board.
For maximizing...
Very nice sets. You'll also see listed as made by T&J Mfg. Mounted one on our Fire Dept wildland truck about 4yrs ago for A/C power. Very smokey on startup but easy to pull start. Noise level is not bad.
Fire Dept (vol included) go thru state forester. FEPP has been around since Korean War and a loan program (US Forestry has title). New program is FFP (similar to LESO) and FD get title. Not all states area active in FEPP and less in FFP.
I've rebuilt my FD with DOD surplus equipment...
I talked to Clarence in approx 1991. Really a sharp and interesting helpful fellow. At the time I was the engineering mgr for a plastic model kit mfg. Was recently off active duty and trying to sell marketing on doing kits of M911 and HEMTT. Got nowhere. A women VP marketing couldn't get...
Which illustrates again that cheapest is seldom least expensive.
Hitch equipment is not that expensive. Buy a receiver insert with a ball/balls and one with a decent pintle.
