    Radiater leak behind R Battery

BR44, It sure sounds like a heater hose or heater core. Both can leak in the places you mentioned. Others have been right on telling you the problem area. If you are new to these trucks and to working on your own stuff. You would be well ahead to start reading the manuals. The -20 tells...

    Low coolent

Check the connection at the radiator. Follow the procedures in the -20 if tightening up the plug doesn't solve the issue. Mine did this for a few months until I put just a little more crimp on the thing.

    My first oil change...

Childrens hard plastic swimming pools are also good to put around the drain bucket. They take forever to drain the oil back out of though.

    IP, Fuel Pump and leaks

Yep, looks like your lift pump is the cause of the leak and the hard starting. Cheap to buy, hard to replace because of location.

    Help!!! Is this serious??

A picture would be a big help. Working from memory. Isn't the bottom bolt for the passenger side alternator a real long one with a sleeve? Is the crack at the head, at the bracket, on the sleeve? Is anything leaking from it?

    New V-100

I was thinking the same thing but didn't want to pick on Rory anymore. At least, if it does leak. Does it for sure have DOT5 or BFS in it instead of DOT3?

    Stupid Question Number 5280

At least I got one of the digits correct. Sorry for the mis statement of the number. I could not find that site where I thought I had saved it. Along with the original REO pictures, drawings and performance data.

    Negitive ground or positive ground

To get the 12 ounces out of the transmission. You can go in through the fill plug and suck, siphon, scoop it out. Or, you can pull the drain and try to put the drain back on real fast. I saw that truck just a week or so ago and the clutch wasn't slipping any. At least the tires were...

    Stupid Question Number 5280

Calling it a M35 isn't accurate. However, calling it an XM291 or whatever it was that REO called their experimental 4x4 based on a M35 would be about the same as the tribute gun trucks. That is my opinion, not a legal one.

    IP, Fuel Pump and leaks

If your truck isn't started after sitting 4 hours or more in 20°-50° outside temps. You more than likely have a glow plug issue instead of a fuel issue. The glow plugs should come on anytime the engine is less than 125°. Trouble shoot and test the glow plug system and glow plugs. What kind...

    M101A2 Lights for Dummies

If you don't want to spend money and make the trailer pretty much not usable behind military vehicles anymore. Pull the cover off the junction of the trailer plug harness on the drivers side of the frame in front of the bed. Unplug all the wires. Plug in your 4 flat wires using Packard...

    M101A2 Lights for Dummies

Do you want to spend money on this or just make it work with what you have? The spend money option is to by a truck side military trailer plug. Usually for around $20 or so online. Then make a 4 flat pigtail to the trailer side military plug. Here is a wriing diagram of what pin does what:

    vibration

Exhaust hanger broken, motor mount, transmission mount, transmission oil fill tube hitting floor, air filter housing loose, air filter housing hitting throttle cable, fan clutch, broken flywheel, loose converter bolts.

trailer wireing took out the flasher , why ?

Those flasher units are very delicate. Just looking at a stray ground while messing with the blinker system will cause them to go. You probably contacted another pin, the flap or the case of the plug with the test light. Or, since you didn't seem to hear a short. Check the ground of the...

    fuel priming help

The new sender you installed should have had an extra line. You probably put the rubber cap from the old sender on the extra line. Reach in by the passenger rear tire, pull the cap and put 1-3 psi of air in there. Open the bleeder at the filter and you should get all air and bubbles out...

Ok who rolled thier Deuce near Uhland Texas?

Boxcar drove through the big town of Uhland after I called to ask about his truck. He said nothing was on TX21 or in the ditch. Could have been the FM road that ends up at Cabella's since those are the only two roads in the entire town. Whoever it was, no evidence was left in the afternoon.

Ok who rolled thier Deuce near Uhland Texas?

How does that song go "Officer, the car was right side up when I parked it...?" My dueces were right side up when I left for work this morning. We'll see when I get home if something changed.

Passenger side knuckle assembly --- Help

M1008 and M1009 and two completely different front axles. There is a place in Georgia selling brand new front axle assemblies with everything new for probably about the same price as that shop is wanting to charge in just labor to fix your problem. I forget the name of the place but know the...
