Depending on date, it's a possibility for Dianna and I.
Our daughter lives in Carrollton and we "need" to visit sometime during the holiday season. It "could" work out.
I see numerous parts on that carcass that have value on the used parts market. Even at scrap prices, they could be donor "organs" to save the lives of other MVs.
Has it gone to the scrapper already?????
James,
Your original post could be the beginnings of a Hallmark Hall of Fame tear-jerker movie.
We may be Green Iron Addicts, but our hearts for these Steel Soldiers are sentimental indeed.
Each of us, I'm sure, can reflect on our lives and cite some regretted decisions. Don't dwell on your...
Frank,
Thank you for the update.
I MERGED your new thread with the pre-existing thread originally posted on this wreck so that those members already subscribed will get the update without having to hunt around for the "continuation".
It's interesting reading indeed.

We lift our hearts in prayer for all those involved in this fatal wreck. We pray for the first responders and all who will be taking follow-up actions.
Has it been determined if the casualty was an SS Member? What username?
Thank you.

If called upon in an emergency, for a whole basketful of reasons, I have always asked to be DEPUTIZED for the duration of the service. This automatically throws an umbrella of protection from another whole basketful of possible problems. I have never been denied the reciprocal request when...
Our prayers for you and your wife. We pray healing and recovery for injuries and financial restoration with your job loss.
We also pray for the young man involved in this collision.

Before operating an MV it is highly advised to read the TM's for the vehicle. The TM for operating a Deuce (and numerous other TM's/Vehicles) REQUIRES the employment of a "SOLDIER B" to assist with backing movements.
NOTICE:
BEFORE POSTING, please re-read posts #22 & #23 (quoted below)
Keeping the separation of these two topics is intentionally defined. Your cooperation is appreciated. Thank you.
I was just thinking that if someone just didn't want to read the TM's, then all they'd have to do is a GOOGLE IMAGE SEARCH. And then they could look at thousands of purty pictures. Just imagine, if each picture is worth a thousand words...... But alas, I dream.
To err is human.
To err out of human pride is ignorant.
We MUST remember that the P in PMCS is for PREVENTATIVE... and we MUST PREVENT that which is within our power to PREVENT.
Thank you for creating this thread.
And thank you to all who post up constructive contributions.

Nice thread!
There is a similar thread about "Contraband" found in acquired MV's but I've been unable to find that one using the SEARCH function. Can anyone provide a link.

Well, last Thursday was supposed to be our 2015 Toys For Tots kick-off event here in San Angelo, TX. However, due to predictions of rain and foul weather it has been postponed until tomorrow evening. UNFORTUNETLY, I will be out of town on business for the City Board upon which I serve as...
OUCH!
The ol' expression "You snooze, you loose," comes to mind. But I sure don't want to rub your nose in it.
I'll promise that should I make it to the Rally next year, I'll be your alarm clock's Soldier B if you don't roll out in time.
