I changed over to two group 31 batteries in order to make more room under the seat. I was able to fab a super easy hold-down if anybody needs: Just a single 14" long piece of Unistrut, and one existing hold down bolt. On the base, I ditched the factory wood in exchange of two 20" strips of...
Fan motor is just 2 wires, like mentioned above, that 12V wire goes from the battery, to the ig/batt switch, to the blower switch, to the blower motor.
Hey, you could use one of your 12V batt equalizers to get your low speed blower fan working! Just kidding bud.
Was this supposed to be posted in the Deuce section?
Engine leaks typically stay forward of the flywheel, including the engine rear main crank oil seal. Use brake spring pliers to handle your clutch pedal spring.
Where is this info coming from? My ABS is working perfectly with the 12V tap wire off, confirmed by testing and ABS self test light. The only thing not working is the blower motor on lo speed. It is working correctly on hi with this wire off. With the blower switched on Lo, and touch this...
? It is DC current, so the only way that could work is if it offset the ground plane of the entire vehicle, which it does not. It is simply routed to the low side of the blower motor switch. Not difficult, and Tom owes lunch, because he said my truck uses a blower motor resistor like his...
I don't believe this to be true. My ABS light runs the normal self-test diagnostics at ignition on, and I just activated the ABS on the icy road to my house, and saw the rear wheels pulsing while the fronts were locked up. The ABS light and system is functioning correctly with the 12V wire off...
Ditched the four 2009 dated 6T batteries in favor of two 1175CCA group 31's. Wanted the room to move my heater core and fan inside the cab in an attempt to get it warmer. Lots of room to easily do it now. I simply removed everything, cut two 1"x4"'s to 20" long, and a 14" piece of stainless...
Yes, your converters are draining your batteries. Recharge them immediately, as the longer they sit dead, the more they become damaged. Not sure of your weather there, but a dead battery can freeze and then destruction happens as the ice forces the plates inside apart.
You have an A0 convertible? Girls are probably chasing you... On the beer thing, tell them to keep up or F. O. They are just envious of the way the 855 sounds at idle.
