That is just cruel fellas. You not only drive through town, but you also stop and eat here without picking me up to come along. If you had looked South as you passed the last light to the East of town, you would have seen my M715 in the parking lot of my school. The Gasser M35 is sitting out...
I know it was already pointed out, but don't for any reason put more than 15-20 psi into a steel 55 gallon drum. I had my regulator set at 15, oil flowed fine. Then it slowed, so I turned up to 20, didn't help much, so I went just a little turn on the regulator more. I walked over to look at...
I agree that you probably have "wind up" on the front. However, check your dog bones on the rear. If one is off, a rear axle walking around could make you think you are having steering issues. At least that is what I thought when a dog bone let go on my Gasser M35.
I would suggest you turn the engine over on the starter with the fuel cut off still out. Just like the -10 manual or PM magazine suggest you do each time you go to start the truck up. This will lesson the damage if there is oil, fuel or coolant in a cylinder.
Of course, you should check all...
Use a furniture dolly to put the tires/hub/brake drum assembly on. Less stuff to take apart and you don't have to pick all those things up. Don't forget your silcone in the keyway, adjust your shoes with the axle not bolted in and check your gear oil level when done. Even if you didn't leak...
Worth a try.
That gasket is pretty thin. A small ball peen hammer will cut a new gasket out in no time. Just don't hit the housing too hard, use thin gasket material and something small and sharp for the bolt holes.
Andy,
Your REO ones are metal, right? I had to pull all 4 of my metal ones apart to get 2 good working units. I just used an o-ring from my old cigar box full of mix matched sizes. I would suggest that you take the parts to a real auto parts store that has a display case full of rings and...
One unique item this park had was a truck wash. Actually, it was a big water hole with a gravel bottom. Since the park used to be a gravel quarry, it kind of makes sense though. We got our tires, rims, axles and frames all covered in mud playing and then were able to drive through the wash...
Yes, that was when we were taking off at 0805. The controller told me to continue on runway heading for 5 miles before I turned SW. I fudged a little toward the camp, but couldn't really get any closer. Having a camera that zoomed would have helped too.
I just happened to have driven the Gasser to work today. Pulling a M105 and going to pick up waste oil after work. However, my manuals are in the truck and I can't get to them. So, I looked it up.
Click on the resources link at the top of this page. Online manuals is what you want and go...
Check your dog bones in a week or so.
I used my Gasser and M105 to pick up 18K of gravel back during the holidays. Did fine while loaded driving 30 miles home. A week later, one of the dog bone ends let go.
Makes you feel like you accomplished something when the M35 and M105 are both sqauting.
Well if Rory and Scott aren't coming, I ain't going either.
Well, not really. Sure going to miss you two. I guess we can sit around and talk at Temple.
I went and measured the side panels. About an inch shorter at the front hinge than at the rear for Gasser versions and the same for the multifuel panels. Good to know something else that is different. Looking under the hoods, it seems the radiator is the closest thing to hitting on the multi...
