My experiences dealing with or being around Wart Hog in OKC and FMJ in Las Crueces, NM is the same. A M35 does not have to be bought from GL to get a good one. There is an added value to having the truck already driven by somebody and looked over. Plus, they normally have more than just one...
There is an o-ring at the hydraulic head of the IP. That could be your leak. Or, it could be one if the metal lines with a crack or as simple as a loose line.
I assume you have the air shift t-case? If you have the sprag unit, never, never, ever move the truck unless you are in a gear that...
Mine has the folding step on the bottom of the bumper. It likes to not rattle until I walk away from the truck. Then it goes into a "my engine is killing itself" noise pattern. I now calmly walk back and put my hand on it to stop the noise or at least identify where it is coming from for...
It doesn't really fit the flow of the thread, but I forgot to put my finished pictures on here when I posted the other pictures a few days ago. They are below.
I have a M35 with wood everything and another with fiberglass everthing as far as troop seats go. I really suggest you find a set of...
It really comes down to how nice you want the trailer in the end and how much time you want to spend.
I spent about 30 hours doing my 101 a few weeks ago over the holidays. I used about $50 worth of abrasive sanding disc, D/A pads and just about anything else I could find that might remove...
Does that mean the trucks with artificial wood troop seats are male trucks on viagra?
Kenny, I saved that picture on my work computer as "M Porn." Working for the state, Big Brother is always watching. I figured to twist a few tails with that. I did. I don't remember how long ago I saved...
Can you actually hear the float flopping around if you hold the carb in your hand and flip it over?
If not, check for the float hitting the bowl. I fit is, then try this.
Blow through the fuel inlet with the carb upright and listen to the air flow. Keep blowing as you turn it upside down...
I try to alternate between the Gasser and the whistler so one doesn't sit any longer than the other. Normally about 10-20 M35 miles a week. Only the Whistler gets to go on long runs anymore because of the multifuel aspect however. That normally adds another 100-200 miles a month to its use...
You are talking about an American M101 and not a Canadian M101, right?
The US M101 and M101A1 have the lunette fixed to the front of the trailer and I don't think they come off. The US M101A2 and M101A3 have the surge brake with a very short lunette. It is not swappable.
The US M105 has...
The 101 lunettes are made to be a solid mount on the trailer while the pintle on the back of the M37, M715, etc... rotated for off road articulation.
The 416 lunette is rotating mounted so the solid mounted pintle on the M38, M38A1 won't be ripped off. At least that is how the only two 416...
Ooops, I guess I should have added that the big one is what you want. I have seen guys use the small ones, but I have only ever used the big one. Now you can see why a single miss will break the handle too.
Sanya is who I talked to at Gulfway when I was looking to do the Gasser with them. She had no problem with it running around doing truck stuff.
I also called USAA about the Gasser. They said no. I went with JC Taylor and all the restrictions they have because gas was up to $3.50 a gallon at...
I used Plio-bond as Chris recommended on my 105 cover. It was torn all the way across the back at the top of the rear flap. It held it by itself, but I cut up a bad inner tube and put that on top of the seam just to be sure. I have about 80 miles with the top behind the Whistler at 45-55 mph...
I have to add a big "atta boy" for Ziggy O as well. It has been a year, but he went beyond the normal "seller" role getting me a NOS Gasser radiator and some other parts. Great guy to deal with.
