My only comment......Air Ride Seats.
Difference is night and day.
The truck still takes a pounding put as long as you're not touching anything solid in the cab it's OK.
Maybe Clinto and Mike (from Durhamtown) can put their heads together and come up with a plan that would allow the SS folks to register and pay at our reception area. I'm sure Mike trusts us enough to know we wouldn't risk getting booted over a few bucks.
Our people could sign a paper waiver to...
You can jack it up....place concrete "cap blocks" (not the blocks with the cells in them) at all four corners and set it down on them. This will give you a firm base.
Adjustable jack stands would work also but might cost more.
That shows how long I been out of the loop.......when I used to get them at the Commissary they were a little over 5 bucks per.
MRE's are an aquired taste......I used to love the Beef Stew with crumbled up crackers, cheese spread and hot sauce mixed in.......mmmmm mmmmmm mmmmmmm.
I think...
MRE's are expensive but if there is enough interest I can buy them by the case at the Commissary at Redstone. Prob have to charge around 5 bucks each. We would still provide tea. Kool-aid, bottle water, etc.
I am already working with some of the local folks in Washington to find us a location that we can convoy to, park the vehicles, have a short lunch, allow outside folks to see the vehicles for a while and then return to Durhamtown.
I'll provide more details on this when next years thread is...
I had one I made on a deuce that I used for recoveries........don't try to enter a military installation with it installed.......ask me how I know.
I originally bought three of those systems......I just bought that one back and a fellow SS member has one of the others. Next year if he can't make it to the rally again I'll borrow the two speakers from his and we will have four.
Ted's has several on the lot in various states of decomposition: ''- Teds Trucks N Stuff Store - Military vehicles and parts, milirary surplus items''
Wear your big boy pants with the DEEP pockets.
I do recoveries from Redstone, AL. Where is it at? I can pull it with the M915 if it is close.
I charge a lot less than commercial and am used to dealing with GL.
A few years ago a bunch of air ride chasis were sold out of Shelby.
They had M900 running gear under them but air suspension.
The Nat. Guard Sgt told me they were an experimental design but that the gooberment decided not to use it in the Refurb program.
Air ride would be awesome on a...
I still need video and still pics emailed to me so I can make a montage video of the whole rally including getting to, going from and the hardball convoy. I need it loaded on my puter so I can download it into the editing suite at the school.

Here is my thoughts on the flag and rendering a salute to those who have passed on.
We seem to be a patriotic bunch and those of us that are ex-military would be happy to show
our friends the proper way to render honors.
I would like to do a Command Retreat ceremony where the flag is lowered...
BUMP
I have left in stock 7 mediums and 15 large.
I am going to let Clinto shut this thread down this coming Saturday.
After that the remaining shirts will go to the MVPA meeting in two weeks or the flea market.
PM me for details or to order.
First come, first served.
Thanks for...
