Worked for me.
Every year at the Dixie Division MVPA meet at Tannehill, AL, folks donate stuff when they come in. On Saturday duing lunch they have an auction and the funds raised are donated to the MV museum in Huntsville.
We could do something similar and use the funds to offset things we need to make the...
Good luck with that.....they suspended my account because the date on my credit card had expired.....did they email me that info that would have been easy to fix......noooooooooo I lost two trucks I had won and could not bid one some items I wanted.
I had to call some crackerhead out there and...
Teds has some HEMMT's sitting on his yard. ''- Teds Trucks N Stuff Store - Military vehicles and parts, milirary surplus items''
There may even be one of the MK48's there.
Give him a call.
Man.....that looks serious.
My logger buddy says this is not uncommon for Cummins engines that sit for long periods of time.
He bought a M915 that ran like a champ for a few days and then all of a sudden there was water in the oil......he said a liner went.
The good news is that they are a...
My big mistake was not ordering more XXL's and cutting back on the large and medium.
I sold out of the larger sizes. I have one or two XXL's in short sleeve, the rest are large and medium.
I have two of the long sleeves in large or med ( I forget).
Sorry GE.
Next to the ugly Gimpy incident by the fire with Elmo that is the most tramatic thing I have ever seen.....that poor deuce needs to be taken out and put out of it's misery.
Or....we could bring it to the GA Rally and everyone could come together and make it whole again.
I'll donate the...
The one I drove to GA from CA would pass everything except a fuel stop.:roll:rofl
If you don't do much long haul driving with the single fuel tank is OK......for long haul you have to stop a lot more often than you do in a commercial rig.
I need anyone with videos or still pics that did not down load to my puter to email me your stuff at wreckerman893@yahoo.com
As soon as I catch my breath I'm going to start on the video of the Hardball Convoy and scenes from around the FOB.
Thanks
With the Allison the above is true.......with the CAT tranny and the engine turned up to 2350 you will embarass a lot of civy big rigs and piss off the Convoy Commander (ask me how I know).
I was clocked at 85 MPH in New Mexico by a deputy sherriff.......he didn't give me a ticket....he said...
One of the great ironies I have found in buying deuces is that 99% of all the deuces I have seen sold out of FL have heaters........but I bought a bunch out of Indiana and Ohio that didn't.
Some things never make sense.:cookoo:
Speaking for myself I do the MKT mission as a labor of love for the good folks that show up.
Neither Mike nor I take a portion of the profits for personal use....those are plowed back into the next rally so we can provide good meals. Steak night this time was basically at cost since we bought...
Someone in my area (NE AL) has a M880 PU for sale.....he is asking over 2K for it.
I don't have a dog in the race but his number is 256-363-2217 if someone is interested.
Bump
I have 45 tan shirts and two of the long sleeve grey shirts left in various sizes (mostly medium and large).
If you want shirts PM me.......if you buy more than one I'll do some discounting.
Thanks to all who supported me and the rally by purchasing them.
If i do them next year...
If there is a member in your area with a deuce and towbar they can help you recover it.
If you are not familiar with the deuce putting brake fluid in can be a booger.
Get on of those funnels with the long flexible tube on it.....otherwise you will spill a lot of fluid topping off the master...
The first thing you should do is read the TM...they are down loadable from several sources.
The second thing you should do is get underneath and make sure all the transmission bolts are tight....those trucks had an issue with them backing themselves out and allowiing the tranny to come loose...
Welcome to the Green Iron Laughing Accademy:cookoo:
