I had one bobbed and ended up having to install a lttle commercial flatbed.
I put 100x20's on it.......it would accelerate like a civy truck.
I fabbed a twin stack exhaust system from HUMVEE fording pipes and it made a cool mellow sound.

I put bucket seats out of a Dodge Neon in my M109 and got a very good ride from them.
Seats out of a commerical semi will not fit in a deuce (I have a set of Freightliner air rides to prove it).
I installed air ride seats in my M915A1 from an M915A3 Freightliner cab...
When I drove deuces in Germany it was an Article 15 (non-judicial punishment) offense to remove that bolt. It was put there for a good reason......if you want more fuel turn up the pump.

If memory serves me (and it may not) there is something in the TM that says not to use the FWD on pavement unless there is snow/ice on it. I could be wrong....stranger things have happened.

I had a multi-fuel tractor and it was gutless from the word go....even with the 200 HP (thereabouts) engine it is a slow beast of burden.
You can crank up the fuel but if you don't know how to drive a warmed up one you will melt it down under the right circumstances.
You can't gold plate a turd.
