Can you find the MV in this photo?

A common swap back in the day was to use CCKW components (prevalent at the time) and convert the 135/211 series to manual.

Redid the seats in and out.

I know the vinyl isn't "correct" but it's so much easier to clean and it doesn't stain/fade like canvas does.

Fun's Over in Bama, State Requires EPA/DOT Certificates of Conforminty

Is this change reflected on the AL DMV/DOT websites? Where could an action committee find the wording of the new regulations in the Alabama govt.'s own words? If this is true, then the AL MVPA (Dixie Division) and the National Chapter are going to need to mobilize and get working on it so you...

    spindle keyway gasket dilema

A valid point, with the exception being that sealant technology has come a long way since 1949, when these trucks were designed. The cork has a weak spot in it as well-when constantly bombarded with hot gear oil, it eventually breaks down and dissolves. This is why when the seals fails and you...

How much did you buy your deuce for? Just Daydreaming.....

That would be fun for about 15 minutes. Find a local member who has a deuce. Give him $50 for fuel and have him take you around town in a lot of stop and go traffic.

    "Do not park in gear"

I've never heard it having to do with the sprag. Reason I was always told was the the multi is all mechanical-doesn't need the electrical system to run or start. Leave deuce in gear + something big bumps into it = deuce starts ad drives away until it hits something. Ask my Dad about the deuce...

    buy from dealer or owner?

I bought my first deuce from a private seller. I had no deuce experience, although I was an experienced wrench turner with many years of experience in the muscle car hobby. I got to go look at the truck, drive it and talk to an experienced owner about the vehicle. Luckily the person I dealt...

Saw M1009 yesterday. Was it you?

I pass that guy about once a week or so on my morning commute on 316. I am almost 100% sure it has a rear window because I think there is some kind of sticker on it. He gets onto 316 @ Harbins.
