The truck has a company in Mass (The Mitre Corp) name painted on both doors. I figured they are the ones that made and added the top. This truck also has a battery box under the passenger seat with a water heated plate for the batteries to sit on. My other truck has a gas fired water heater...
Thanks for the info on the passenger mirror mount. I do need two of the mirrors themselves, but since they look exactly the same as my M715 mirrors and I know where some of them are, I will hold of spending any money on them for now.
Both of my trucks have the hood latches inverted like that...
My m35 has a few things I am not sure I have seen before on other trucks. This is on the passenger side. What is the hollow tube the mirror is bolted to?
When did this style of mirror and bracket stop being used?
Then I have the cab mounted rear facing spot light and hard top. The spot...
Gassers had no tach right? From looking under the dash, it seems like the air psi was an electric gauge. I have two electric senders under the dash hooked into the air system. I figure one is for the buzzer and the other for the gauge. Did I guess right?
Thanks for all the help. I',m not...
I'm a week late, but here are the measurements.
Top right to bottom left center of Dzus hole to center of Dzus hole=13-1/4"
top left to bottom left center to center =6-1/4"
This is just a 1/2" bigger in all regards than my M715 gauge panel. Can somebody measure what ever they think might fit...

I got my crimp tool from Kevin at Star Ordanance. I will find his info and post it in the next day or so. I paid $1.00 each for the connectors and twenty something for the tool.
I also took all the connectors off a M25A2 that was being scrapped a few months ago. That is how I got so many.
My M715 and every M35A2 I have ever seen have the Packard type rubber connectors for all electrical plugs. My M35 has the older style connectors that have the metal cups that twist to hold the plugs together. What is this style called? I have no gauge panel or most other wires connected to...
The sun came out and it finally stopped raining this afternoon. This gave me a chance to try and get my old Gasser to start. I was told by the previous owner that the engine had been rebuilt but never turned over before it was left to sit in 1981. I pulled the plugs on Friday and squirted oil...
The switch does not need to be grounded. I have had several over the years that work in all respects except for the power to the brake light switch. I just found another and keep the ones that don't work all the way as in the truck spares. I will have lights to see with and be seen, yet don't...
My shop was supposed to be 6" with rebar. I know 2x6 boards were used as forms. I had to hire it done instead of doing it myself when it was built 5 years ago. The carport was set up the same way. I have had all kinds of heavy things on both with no problems. I just wanted to be mentally...
Who has cracked driveway, carport, garage or shop floors with these trucks? This is obviously the biggest vehicle I have ever owned and don't want to tear up my carport or shop floor with it. Or anybody elses for that matter. What is too thin to not drive on?
Thanks.
RE: Re: RE: It Worked!
I don't know what the trailer looks like either. The college student, Agengr, who found the trucks has the use of his bosses trailer. It is a gooseneck flat bed is all I know. I have a friend who has been away on business all week who might have access to another...
Don't buy anything yet. I know the cab on the one already home is just about beyond repair due to rust. The other cab hasn't been looked at too close yet. I have a spare A2 cab already and access to another A2 cab. So, I might end up with the tach panel. I know where a few of them are...
I use this feature everytime I log on to catch up on all post made since I was last here. The last 24 hours or so, it hasn't worked right. Just now, I hit it and got a screen saying I had 47 post to view. They were on 3 different pages. I hit the button for page 3 and I got a screen saying...
RE: Re: RE: It Worked!
That is another crazy but good thought Chris. I don't have the proper M715 adaptors like you do though. I just painted my bumper last week and don't want to scratch it all up with the chain adaptors either.
But, I like these crazy ideas and will think about it. Thanks.
