..also, a lot would depend on you keeping duals or if it's 'singled out'. Singles would give you more room vs body work etc. Conflicts with the suspension would also have to be considered.
You would not have to have the rears steer 1:1 with the front axle - only a percentage would greatly...
I'd say there is another issue here. Maybe the winch brake is dragging... (Is it possible a rear axle is hung up on a stump?)
I would think (without seeing the actual situation) the stock winch should be able to move the truck, single line, at idle, not driving, without problems...
Dang that's more work than I was expecting - I knew I had forgotten a load... but now there are many I hadn't heard off!
Trouble is, ... I now need logo's for all the US manufacturers (going to omit the 'made for the US' like M.A.N, Merc, Land Rover., etc...)
Thanks everyone for your efforts.
OK - got a parade to get ready for, theme is 100 (since it's the anniversary of the second oldest Independence Day parade).
OOOO, I got my edit back!!! So we're going with "100 years of US manufactured Vehicles for the Military"........
Don't have much time to do research, so looking for...
If you have any lakes nearby and maybe a Chandler/Boating supply place - go measure one of the marine type.... They don't have the benefit of digging the point in to get it started - but I'd guess that 45 deg is a maximum, shallower may be preferential.
June 2014
OK - this isn't on the radar but I go each year with my son and will be "green'ing" it this year (CARC green) not JD!
Nice event - old tractors and working vintage earth-moving equipment, ploughing demos and tractor pulls, there are even a couple of 'historic' semi's too...
Wet line QD ports
Thanks for the suggestions - but I was trying to find out what connectors the A3 uses....
I could just use farm tractor "Pioneer" type - would make one heck of a self propelled log splitter!
Weather for Sat ... "A chance of showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 66. Chance of precipitation is 40%."
Also note that rain is forecast from today right through to Sat - so the ground is going to be plenty soft!
I hope someone has an E-Z up for dry "visiting".
I was thinking that maybe there might be an interference issue with the lids not opening fully when the crane is slewed at an angle... BUT seeing as you have done this - I guess you have already checked! Were you able to save and reuse the hinges?
I know that on mine, I can't open the...
... and on behalf of all us from the old country from which y'all got independence, (who love this one by the way & that we now call home), can I wish you all what We call it.....
Happy Good Riddens Day! :-D
Before I get blasted - I will be flying "your" flag on the house (my wife and son...
Well - schematics only show ... the system, but unfortunately, the necessary valve/port is mounted tight to the cabinet side that holds all the valves/plumbing so I think inline "T's" will be the simplest option - rather than remake the cabinet/valve location.
Stilll need info on quick connects.

... looks like you'll have a prefab'd option rather than haveing to make your own. Keep us posted if you need to follow through with alternatives; sketches, ideas etc.
'22, I'd go with Jeff's idea and either an attatchment to the trailer or a permanent mod depending if you are likely to be towing the trailer with a lowrider in the future.
Two stout ears (for upwards of 1 1/4 or 1 1/2" bolts) welded on the top and sides of the trailers 'A' frame, at least 18"...
I spoke to Lorna yesterday - she too want's to convoy on Sat am aswell.
Looks like it's planned to meet up at the McD's in Richfield for a 9am depart. There is a spot of waste ground right opposite the gas station entrance, on 20 just incase the station is busy.
Lorna will try to get a'hold...
Anyone else planning going to the car show in Norwich NY?
There used to be a decent gathering of MV's, tents etc., though in recent years the amount of 'green' has dwindled a bit. Weather last year didn't help!
It would be nice to see if this 'broad spectrum' car show could regain a little more...
What the army uses or not - I've seen first hand the devistation in the far East from rain forest logging.... Heart breaking.
I'd go with domestic treated pine - go thick enough and if possible, tongue and grooved (or biscuited as appropriate). I've done oak before but after it got rained...
