First off, Congratulations! Technically, all this means is that the truck was repainted at that time. I've seen lots of trucks with "paint rebuilds" that weren't actually overhauled, so don't base it soley on the CARC date...

Wow! So, did you mean to say it pulled *right* to start with? You have replaced the hoses and calipers at this point? Did the right side bleed freely, like the steel line was not plugged? Is the steel line pinched anywhere from the proportioning valve over to the wheel?

The top handle in the hitch is for releasing the lunette to pivot side to side. The one on the leg is for lifting (and I think releasing) the leg.

Depends on condition. Scrap is running about $0.10 per pound around my area, and the value goes up from there based on the condition of the truck. If it's nice and doesn't need any work, it could be anywhere from $7K to $12K to the right guy.

Does it smoke (white) while cranking? If not, it's probably a fuel drain back problem. If so, it's probably glow plug related.

Only the M1028A1's and A2's have the NP-205 (and M1031's, which the other two are made from).

Do you have any idea of how our wonderful state would handle this given a historic registration? I have always wondered because the GVW on the registration is "N/A", presumably because you are not supposed to haul anything except your own butt around. I sincerely I hope you got what you think. The plate/cab shows M1028, but in the video I did not see any overload springs on the rear spring packs, which is, to say the least, strange... And, I have a windshield I'll sell for $75. It was installed in a truck and then removed because the truck...
