I'm glad you are happy with it! Here's a pic of one, since I've had some questions about them.

    2010 aberdeen BS/for sale/who's going/when and where

I'll be bringing a few NEW CUCV cargo covers an other miscellaneous CUCV/Chevy parts. PM me your needs and I'll see if I have it. I'll also be bringing some NOS M101A3/M116A3 front crank-up landing legs to convert your standard flip-up M101 trailer leg to crank-up. They are very nice. I've...

    HELP cucv just quit running

Just updating this thread for Tom. We spoke on the phone. He replace the fuel filter and it did not help. He's going to check for loose connections between the lift pump and the tank. We also talked about the lift pump, so he will probably try that next. Basically, he could get it to start and...

    U.s. Forest service m1008 or m1028 ?

They used whatever they could get, which tended to be both, although typically more M1008's than M1028's. Check the NSN on the Mfr plate on the door jamb when you get it. If the last 4 digits = 6827 or 2671, it's a 1008 or 1008A1.

    heater question :: 5 ton to m35

A multi-fuel 5-ton heater will be very close. The 800 heaters are all backwards and the 900 is not even close. Now, just about anything can be MADE to work, but I don't get the impression that's what you are asking?

    M-35 cab heater

I seem to remember those going for $400-$450? That was a BARGAIN for 2 complete fuel burning kits!

    Electric Heater

:funny: Electric heat will use too many amps to make it feasible (if you can find 24V), so I'd probably go with the mittens, too, until you have cash...;-)

    Gen 2

Can you clarify? Once you've revved it, it keeps charging, or it goes back to the dim light situation?

    M-35 cab heater

Actually, I sold my last spare recently. :( NOS fuel heater kits can be had for about $500-$700, which includes EVERYTHING needed to install (heater, ducts, diverter, controls, wiring, all hardware, etc), including bluepriint drawings and detailed instructions.

    HEMTT Prices and availability

I'm sure someone else will chime in with actual experience, but: 1) $75K-plus 2) VERY rarely - some dealers have one or two 3) Not many in civilian hands 4) Parts are not plentiful. Good luck!

    M-35 cab heater

In ND, you might opt for the fuel burning unit. MUCH warmer...:-D

    Retry- Questions about M915A1

The inter-axle differential lock will make it act more like a deuce or 5-ton in the snow. Better than not having it at all, but not really great, either. Chains and weight on the 5th wheel are your best friend.

    Cargo Cover

I have a line on some NOS CUCV covers. They are not the Dodge M880 cover, but the real deal M1008/A1 cover. I will post details when I know for sure, but that might be a couple of weeks...

    Looking for pic's of M125 +155gun or 8"how

Here's a shot of an M125 with a towed gun (not sure of the size). This was posted on the mil-veh list years ago and I think it was from South Korea after the war. Sorry it's not a side shot, but it's the only pic I've got of an M125 towing a gun.
