Thanks for the reply, I just wanted to make sure it wasn't some obscure size and be looking for one down the road.
Will be towing with a lifted Dodge Ram 2500 4wd with Cummins diesel. Got a 5 ton pintle hitch that should sit pretty high along with the truck height. From your picture, I think...
Heading out tomorrow to pick up a trailer at an auction site and want to make sure I have the correct socket size in case I have to pull off a wheel.
Bringing tools, grease, PB Blaster, tow lights, MAPP gas torch(just in case), anti seize, jack, jack stands, generator, extension cords, electric...
I thought the crankshaft in the lower left of the video was a booze bottle.....though he's been driven to drink by his generac.
The only thing that could make that video better beside cutting the wind noise, would be if he had some help getting it out of the back of his truck and then...
Generally you are correct.
Many motors will work with the lower 208 voltage though.
Its the frequency of the power that is the problem. A 60 hz motor will not be compatible with 400hz power, or vice versa.
I remember reading that while skimming through that TM. The company should have stamped an L on the bolt head for a man without a book at hand.
Thanks for posting that excerpt.

Post 15 states its "reverse threads". To me that means left handed threads in every case.
Stand by,
Before you do that let me find the reference post and get it here. I just read it last night where someone posted they had broken one or a couple.
The utterly obscene prices for "off the shelf" type parts is maddening. Seals are available in all sizes and there is ALWAYS a substitute number. I used to rebuild forklifts with an older gentleman and he always could find a seal for anything cheaper than going OEM from a company/mfgr. Bearings...
Thanks, I went through all those references and it still didn't say the dimensions. The one at wbparts shows a right handed thread and we know that the bolt is left handed thread. The words "or larger" are not encouraging either.
If anyone with the correct bolt already out of a set could post...
And they also never put away the cases of oil or spare parts needed, or gain the knowledge to maintain them. They think they'll be able to swing by their local store and get what they need in a ten minute trip.....mid crisis.
What are the dimensions of this specific bolt? Unless its some weird dimensions/thread I would think it should be available at most any place that carries left hand thread bolts at a fraction of the obscene prices being asked in some places.
This seems to be a penny wise/pound foolish(no offense) situation.
Another 12v battery is far cheaper than a 12v stop solenoid and 12v alternator to charge the battery and hoping that other circuits designed for 24v will work correctly.
The cost/benefit issues don't make sense to me.
If no luck finding something direct replacement, maybe check with these people. I don't know anything about their sales/minimum orders but might be worth a try. They make left handed bolts in common threads and sizes...
What's the part number of your "12v" socket? The issue is that the 85805 Dorman socket is a little loose fitting for the same BA9s base bulbs, either 12v or 24v. Notice the symmetry of the lugs. The grooves on the 85805 Dorman socket are offset in height causing only one lug to grip when bulb...
