Yeah, 'm driving my Gun Truck down to PapaBear's in Columbus, GA in one month and we are working on keeping the heat out of the cab too. The OD GI sleeping mats are what we are using inside the cab. Don't know about what I'm doing on firewall yet, maybe tinfoil. JT out
Randy, I sure hope you get it straightened out, I'm counting on seeing you at the Gathering. I'll be working on Aces & Eights to prep her for the 1100 mile drive starting next week, Good Luck brother, John T
And now you know something about tool box mount brackets that a lot of us didn't know!!!!!!! Now you are one of the wise ones. Great meeting you at Norwich last weekend, JT

I hope to get there with my 5 ton 4x4, it is a great flea market/car show/ NY-Penn military vehicles collector club gathering. Looking forward to meeting Zebedee and seeing Mikey again( interesting avatar) JT
I will be down to visit on Friday, I used to be a vendor, just can't do it anymore, the drive is too expensive nowadays, the space rent adds up a lot more cause I took 5 spaces to show my stuff and the blacktop doesn't work for my setup. I actually enjoyed Churchville very much, it was a great...
Steve, thanks for the thanks, the MTA show is a great place to go, for vendors, collectors, newbies and the general public. That is true mostly cause the MTA is a great, dedicated club. Although members change, the attitude stays primo. I have never missed any of the MTA shows and won't until...
Retarders were used in the MT series of Allisons in the 60's and 70's, I had an International, 1972 diesel 10 wheeler with an MT41 and a 3 speed auxillary box. It worked fair. They create a lot of heat in the torque convertor. I own a 915A1 with 400 Cummins and Allison HT 750 and a Jake...
Looking for an immersion heater that works in a steel can to heat water for KP duty. One of my friends at all of the shows told me he had some new and reasonably priced last year. Now I can't remember who it was and I need one. If you have one for sale, please PM me with price, John T
The uprights are 45" and go from floor to botom section of corners. I think the corner uses about 4" of the upright and rises about 8". the bows have about a 7" arc, so, the bed to the top of bow is about 56" which puts us at about what Gerhardt said..........60". He is always right, wish I...
I may be mistaken but I don't think anyone has mentioned M35 Tom in this thread, He makes the latest version of the M/F head gaskets and is as reasonable as possible on price. My customers buy his head gaskets and other people's head sets with the old head gaskets in them whenever I do valve...
