New lower radiator hoses are made all the while, see Adirondack Dodge Parts on web or MV Magazine, also other suppliers such as Erik's, Eastern Surplus, Memphis, White Owl, and many others. They are after market and fit correctly. JT out
f all air acuated parts are working, drain transfer case, refill with kerosene and drive for a while. Maybe 2 weeks, then drain and refill with gear oil. This cleans a sticky sprag unit and often fixes problems. JT
Actually, If it runs and drives, and has air shift transfer, it is worth $2500 all day. Axles.$1500 Transfer, $500, engine, $1000, then cab, box, fenders, hood, etc, etc,. They don't make these trucks anymore.
I am maitaining my MBU burners for 2 kitchen trailers and am running out of in tank fuel filters. Can anyone help me find filters? P/N 038052-08. Measurements: 1.920 long, .854 OD, .382 ID one end. The other end is closed. Paper element with metal ends. Thank you in advance, John T
Stretch44875 hit the nail on the head, there is no Napa hose that correctly interchanges with the factory hose. Buy ower radiator hoses made for the Deuce.
I have an Engineered Air Systems H1 Ground/Shelter Heater that I use for heating my new shop and was wondering if anyone else has one and is using it? I need a coil, NSN 2920-01-102-0709 if anyone has one or knows where I could find one. It makes 400,000 BTUs of pretty clean hot air, heats the...
Thanks Justin572 for digging for that thread. But that plow frame was one Surfdog provided me to put on his truck. It's OK but not my style. All of mine pin on at the lift shackles and at the U-bolts at the front axle.. I surely appreciate you doing the search though, Happy Thanksgiving, JT
I have built snow plow mounts on 5 Tons and Deuces for several years, all successful. They don't look like this one. Upper mounts pin on inplace of bumper shackles. Lower mount push bar pins on to a plate on each side of the axle that bolts to the bottom of the 4 ubolts. The ability to move is...
Search for Cranetruck posts back about 7 or 8 years ago. He developed the first loud turn signal flasher for deuces using the low air buzzer. Doghead might remember the thread title
Also notice the manual has the two versions labeled wrong. I saw this several years ago and kinda laughed. The old Chelsea PTO manuals use the same model designations, but they label their drawings correctly.
You do have the WN 7 28.
5 Tons use a 20,000 front and 44,000 rears, on your farm, on your roads, you could carry 64,000 or more at controlled speeds and moderate grades. When I was in school, water weighed 7.98 pounds per gallon, when did that change? JT out
