It can be a Hercules 198 or a 298. Either way, I don't know which it is but a D-3400 is used on some Mil gensets and on Oliver and Cockshutt ag tractors. It's a winner either way

I have bought kits for my Reo 331s and my Continental 6602s from Then and Now Auto Parts several times and they are definitely made with material that holds up to ethanol gas. They are great to deal with. The kits are very complete and the fuel pumps work great after rebuild. JT out

The napa 3540 is a yarn type filter, Gimpy's are the same and cheaper., either way you do need Napa 5070 gaskets. Wish my fuel filter adapter kits weren't too expensive, they really work. JT

primary is napa 5131. secondary are napa 5070. If you can't get them, I can send them. JT

The Ld and LDT engines have single squirters and LDS have double squirters... The Lds oil pump also puts out a little more oil volume and pressure than the Ld and LDT engines . JT

The primary fuel filter gasket is Napa 5131. The secondary fuel filter gaskets are Napa 5070. These are good correct numbers, I buy them 100 at a time from WIX who makes them for Napa. The Wix numbers are 15131 and 15070respectively. JT
