The gasser deuces were rated at 60 MPH in 5th gear. You probably have a fuel problem. As long as the truck was empty, you should have been able to do at least 50-55 MPH. Be sure gas is fresh, using non ethanol only or you will be rebuilding the mechanical fuel pump VERY soon and most assuredly...
M62s had a hyd tank at the back of the cab. M543s have hyd tank mounted on the rotating upper house. That truck is an M543. Air cleaner mount only signifies gas 6602 or multifuel LDS 465 1A. Many M62s were up graded to multifuel engines. You either have an M543A2 multi or an M543A1 Mack. JT

Dudley treated me like family from the first time I met him. My deepest sympathy to Shawn, Matt and the family. Rest in Peace friend, you will not be forgotten, John T

the hubs on the 900 series 5 ton can't be flipped, the brake drums won't cover the brake shoes. You need 5 ton combat wheels, they have the offset to be able to track properly. in on the front and out on the rear. I spent a whole day trying to figure how to flip the hubs after having done at...
