HEMMT wheels A friend has 5 new HEMMT wheels with O-rings and nuts that he could bring to MTA show at Sussex, NJ if anyone wants them.

I cut the heads off long bolts and install 2 on the crank flange then slide the fly wheel in, just keep trying til they all line up. Install the cap screws, remove the be-headed bolts and install the last 2 cap screws. Tighten and torque. JT

You can get head parts from AGCO tractor dealers, they took over Oliver and White tractor parts sales. The engine is called a D-4800.

Thank you all for your help. I did the test on a cold engine and my pressures came out low but quite even across all 6 cylinders. I got 230-240 PSI. I will get the truck warmed up well and try it again. John T

What would be an acceptable PSI on my military compression gauge for a LDT-465-1D?

If it is a canister about 3 inches or so in diameter, yes you can use a 3511. If it a lot larger diameter, no. That one may be a scraper style, and can be cleanable. JT
