The manuals are on my website, you can download any or all. Congratulations, one of my finest trucks is my M543A2. It rides like an Ocean Liner on hard roads and Pulls like Goliath in the field. I have never hooked onto something I couldn't recover............ sometimes 4 part line was needed...
my CUCV plow truck is starting hard again, I installed AC 13G glow plugs 3 years ago and it has been great until now. I picked up 8 new 13G glow plugs today for $10.59 each, will install Friday and post back here how we're doing. I will test the old ones and see how many failed. JT out
Your Dad and I were friends through this circle of MV collectors on Steel Soldiers, and we sat and talked together at MV shows through out the North East. I am shocked and so sorry he is gone. I grieve for your loss and pray for his peace in Heaven. I will never forget him and will always be...
5 ton lockout hubs
Andrew, I am waiting for the shell casting quote. interior machine work is all set. need to design spring set engagement then good to go. JT
Floridianson, I hope others read your report and understand what you checked, and why you checked it. At least 2 years ago I took a 5 ton transfer case apart and found that there is no neutral between forward and reverse sprag engagement. That caused me to give up on 5 ton lockout hub...
Well, it was pretty danged hot in Carlisle,PA in 2010 and I made it through that Gathering, guess I'll make it to Columbus this year, might even drive the Guntruck down. JT out
You can find the older versions of M34, M35 Gas powered manuals on my website at the bottom of the M35 reference library of manuals. Everything is covered in these VERY large manuals, Happy Thanksgiving, JT
Yes Clinto, the REB kit changed a sprag transfer case to a lever operated front axle engagement. It included a lot more than just a lever as 2 gears had to be changed in the transfer case and the spag unit removed. It wasn't a bad job as it was all in the tophat front section of the transfer...
It is great when someone brings up an interesting topic like this and others come on and add information, thank you to all 3 of you. It's pretty nice that ROK is still one of our best allies and not one of our enemies. JT
PaPa Bear, how the heck are you? You peggged it on the cigar!!!!!
If I make a run to Abelmarow North Carolina this winter, how much further to your Den? I'd like to get together with you and the Camo Crew. John T
Hi Joe, I sent you back a PM a while ago. I am still here, made it back from my Washington, DC protest. Seat covers are all in stock, several M35A2's for sale too. JT out
Gringeltaube's power steering is the nicest I've seen, and he did it way long time ago. But, if the air-o-matic is truly functioning correctly, you would have to be doing something insane at high speed to get a steering wheel whiplash in off road conditions. I don't sell these items or work for...
If no one else answered this man, the numbers on multifuel deuces are on the left frame rail to the rear of the steering gearbox mount plate. Generally. I do own a deuce that has no frame numbers on either side. The first REO deuces, circa 1950 and up to 1961 had numbers on the right frame...
Washington look see
That's funny. I'm riding the Greyhound to Union Station, DC. I am scared sh#tless to do this so I am surely not driving my truck down there. I sure wish someone would meet me at the West Lawn of the Capitol on October 12th at noon. I could use the support. What I am...
