The slide in shelter is an S-280 for the deuce 12' bed. I really like the truck camper idea cause it would leave room for the fuel tank, and that could gravity feed to the truck tank. Win-win situation. Then the M105 with a clothing repair shelter in it would give you lots more dry storage...
I agree, they won't work on the Deuce rear trunnion type bogies, but they sure work great on the front axle of my M1028 while carrying the Fisher 8' snowplow. JT out

Very nice work Karl, I put one there on my M109A3 for the cross country trip a couple years ago. It houses my generatorset for ground power as we travel. I don't carry an extra spare as I feel I have 4 already in 10 wheel configuration. Heading for Alaska in 2012. JT out
So, the manual is wrong? I drive a ground rod and hook it to the genste ground lug, I run a 3 wire cord to an inlet using 2 hots and a neutral and this is wrong to run my garage? JT is asking.
