I towed two from Atlanta, Ga to Gainesville, FL. with no problems on separate trips, but you situation seems to be a much longer journey. Good luck with your endeavor!
I tried to get a late model M-803A, but it went for $4250.00 plus fees for a non runner, which is not a smart move for me. Maybe better luck next time!
You can't find them because they are probably still wrapped up in the plastic & foam that I shipped them in. If opened, you would not be able to miss them unless you crate stuff up. Good luck finding them.
I put one of those in the back of my Deuce cab interior for improved lighting @ night. The difference is that mine is painted white from the manufacturer & has an external wiring connection (which was bypassed). They work really great lighting up the cab instead of fumbling around looking for a...
I ran into that mess inside the fuel tank of my Deuce back in October. A good dosing of the Algaecide Power something or the other cleared it right up. Mine was so bad that the screen in the strainer going into the tank would block fuel from going into the tank. To fill the tank, I had to remove...
You are going to be very happy with your new trailer. I got to view it today when I took my Deuce over to see James & pickup a few donated items. The trailer is in great shape & just needs to be in your back yard.
Back to my reason for the trip, James it trying to reduce the amount of military...
I also went & ordered a Milwaukee 2767-21 from Home Depot to start replacing tires on my trucks & trailers. The last tire I pulled off & put back on with a geared wrench let me know that I need a little help with the lug nuts if I am going to remove more than one.
I see that murphy was busy somewhere else when you went to recover your truck. Self recovery @ that, great job & kudos for getting her home with no issues requiring a tow.
I agree with Light in the Dark about the power issue. My other smaller genset, a 701A will blow the fuse on the convenience outlet if too much current is drawn. The regular power lugs are a different story. There is a 803a locally that I am looking @, but the non running condition, lack of tools...
That is a screaming deal with the trailer included in the price as the trailer looks to be in great shape. Locally, I was watching several MEP803a's that were non runners & individually they went for $3K as is for a '93 Libbey unit. Good score for you! Hopefully you will find some small issue &...
The Haldex PURest One is what I put on my M1081. I can't compare as it is the only one working that I have, the old finned one is in a box waiting for me to decide what to do with it.
That turned out very well after all. If you had gotten a overseas container, it would have cost 4 times what you have invested in this trailer & you would have to pay to have it moved. With the trailer, you just back the 915 to it & off you go. Since it is wired for power, you can put some of...
