Another thought... make SURE you have front springs and not trailer springs on front hangers. County the number of leafs and compare to the front springs on your truck. Unlikely but a possibility.

ouch...
Ouch! I was joking with the Captain about short sheeting you guys with the title then having "to be continued" in the body of the post. Guess this is the result.
Unfortunately the truck is not my own. It belongs to a friend. I will respect his privacy 'till he decides...
yup...
I am very excited about this opportunity. I am sure it will add fuel to the fire to put IH DT-466 / Allison MT654CR kits in my other bobbers...
Not enough time in the day or money in the bank.

Yup...
Yup, NDT hit the nail on the head. They also cut the M75s up to make the Wood Tiger 2000s. The original Wood Tiger was built off of a highspeed tractor (M5?) chassis.

the air assist is a good option for the price (500 used to 1100 new) and minimal effort to put on. Full hydro is top shelf for off road but takes some getting used to for on-road apps. The steering wheel "floats" when going straight. The ideal set up is an in frame box, 5 ton pump and...
Get on a plane
Plane tickets are cheap right now. Fly down here (Houston) and I will show you first hand. I have power steering on some and manual on others so you can drive them side by side. I am in the process of cutting two more down now. Come spend a Saturday here and you will be...
I need to have a trailer hauled from Eureka, NV to Houston, TX. I can go get it but I would prefer to catch a backhaul. Pintle hook.

I have been looking for an hour on here. Anyone know the torque value for the HEMTT wheel studs? The ones that bolt the wheel together.
Putting some together tomorrow for a friend. Any info on tricks? i.e. rtv on the seal, etc. These need to be trouble free after assembly.

XZL Letter
www.dodgroundtires.com/pdf/SAA_Letter.pdf I don't know how to post the letter but here is the link. It approves the load range G and J 395 XZLs for 70mph. The body of the letter is to allow the two ratings to be mixed on the MRAP vehicles.

tires
I will put this set on this weekend and drive them around.
What has me in a buzz is the best-of-both-worlds possibility. The goodyear MTR tires I am running are not as "true" as the michelin XMLs that I have. They shake the truck more than ANY of the michelins I have used. Perhaps a...
Anyone seen 395 XZL tires. I have several of the XL and XML in this size but today I found 8 XZLs. Never seen them before except in 14.00s and 16.00s.
