SECO in Ga did this years ago. They used M114 sections ($60ea) and custom fitted the last section to the needed length. Deflate the 9.00s or 11.00s bolt track sections together then inflate tires.

Lift Blocks
No legal concerns with rear lift blocks. The spring wrap you will get from the mechanical advantage the blocks causes is another story.
I have some bobbers with front springs in the rear (no blocks). If you have never driven a bobber, take a drive down and we will run them...
yup...
Just checked... it is the Bendix Tu-Flo 550 flange mount for the cummins application. The hydro power piggybacks on the rear of the air comp. All is gear driven.

I have tried...

Hydro steering
I have done a lot of research on this and the info is gray. In short, if you run a full hydro kit it must have a flow through orbital valve to be on the road. i.e if you cut power you must still be able to avoid a wreck. The older non flow through valves were dangerous in that...
thanks guys
I can do turn-key jobs or labor only.
I enjoyed the trip to LA. Any of you are welcome to take a trip over and visit anytime. Be warned! You may end up in a forced labor camp for OD. :o)
