According to the Maintenance Expendable limits manual, Libby made some similar machines that are covered in TM 5-3431-205-20P (LE-300, LEW300, and LEB300), for a diesel one the TM is 5-3431-201-20P (ODW-300).
Closest I can find is TM 5-3431-228-34P for the
WELDING MACHINE, ARC:
AC/DC, 300AMP TRANSFORMER RECTIFIER;
CONSTANT CURRENT, BASE MOUNTED
(EUTECTIC CORP. MODEL MD301 FED)
Looks like it is one of the many variants of an S-280 shelter. You should be able to find the weight and dimensions of the standard model (basic) S-280 and go from there.
I operated one in West Virginia that had been brought on-site to our Disaster Relief base camp. That one was running 120/240, with the 240 being used to run six dryers in the laundry trailer, while the 120 was keeping an ice machine working. They will cut off when the fuel gets down to about...
The small sized solar panel is for de-sulfating only, but very important in keeping the batteries in good shape. The truck appears to be in excellent condition, with the winch, hard top and heater. You ought to come down to the VA MV Rally over the Labor Day weekend. And you should study the...
A long time ago, I had a stereo system that blew a resistor on one side, so I was able to look at the corresponding schematic for the other side and figure out what the value had been. When I replaced the resistor, I used four times the wattage, but the same Ohm value. Never had any more problems!
It is possible because that way the soldiers coming through the chow line would not have to make their way through a screen wall to get onto the MKT. Two of the intermediate screens would be a better choice IMHO, but putting one on in reverse (shifted) might not work as well as just using the...
Noticed that the second MBU in the video is a 100, not a 103. Heat range on it will be a bit narrower, esp on the low end (20K BTU/hr vs 11K BTU/hr for the newer one) so it may need to be set lower to keep an even heat on the griddle. Noted that you have the new griddle (MKT-99 upgrade).
The turbo adds FIVE HP to the engine (134 to 139) but cleaned up the exhaust to satisfy the EPA. Now when you get into the LDS engines meant for the five-ton's, they have the turbo and a lot more power out of the same block, but there are a lot of different parts including the block (Thick Deck...
Oh, and don't let the burners run too long without close supervision. I have two 15 gallon pots that have been patched (before i got them) because the burner was fired up and the pot was empty, and melted a hole in the bottom. Griddles can get warped also from too much heat. Using the...
At one time there were six in private hands in Columbia, SC. Dave, Mitch, Adam, me, MVCSC, and Chris who moved to New Mexico. I've sent out about two dozen of the MKT USB drives. Two fellas in Quebec had three between them. Timntrucks had two, Wreckerman swapped his to popabear and I think...
No dates six months out and I may not make it at all. I already have another event scheduled for Oct 22-25. Some people who still have jobs had to commit to vacation day plans in January or February - for them it's too late for 2020. My advice for 2020 - If you don't have something firm by...
If the truck has the air shift front (switch in the cab) and not the sprague, AND you don't need all wheel drive, the different size on the front and rear will not matter very much, if at all.
