I used muratic acid. But you must be careful, and triple rinse the system before adding antifreeze. Remember, you are flushing a 42 QT system, and it takes a lot of stuff to clean the junk out. I had the insides of the hoses clogging up the thermostat, and the coolant looked like rubber...
Oil pressure kill circuit is bypassed when the starter is engaged. There is enough oil pressure from the starter spinning the engine, that when the engine starts, and you let go of the switch, the kill circuit won't trip. It only takes 20psi or so to close the switch.
Works just about the...
Yes, exercise is good. I like to run mine about 30-40 minutes every two weeks. I drive it hard enough to get both the 250 and the tires warm(I have some hills on my loop that I drive).

It was great turning wrenches with Troy and Tony. I also found out that I cannot hold onto tools...

If we drive fast enough, the rain should just flow right over the windshield. Or, we can get a tarp, and about a mile of 200 mph tape, and build us a soft top. Or have ferro steal one of the soft tops he has in his compound.
Or just have the sun shine..............:naner:
The problem is that when Zout finishes the paint job on Swiss's CUCV, the paint and body work will be more expensive then the vehicle, and it will look so good that Swiss will hide it in a garage.
Hah-- Just got passed.........nanny nanny boo boo.
I have to admit- You will know it's swiss with that off tan mustard looking color. Just like you know it's EMD567, when the truck just keeps passing, passing, passing you.
I am ready to go. Just reserved camping spot B12, the back corner where Zout, Phil, PB, 73M819, Swiss, Ferro, Bigugh 20, and some guys from Ala. set up. Let the fun times begin!!
I am planning to be there Friday before, with the M814 "Long Easy" and the M37 "Looking for Trouble" With the super deluxe "HOOCH" in tow behind the M814.
