One of my M109s came with out a dash panel, so we repaired the wiring to the guages, attached the guage wiring, tach and speedo and started to put it back in place............Wrong, the truck was a 50s gasser originally and had a dash panel ith only one large hole., There was a small dash panel...
Jon, I will look through my manuals this weekend and see what I may have to help you, we V18A-MTQ people must stick together. I also have a source for carb and fuel pump parts for very old vehicles, PM me and I will guide you on. JT Out
Be careful here, the air wiper motors have a red colored grease on the sliding clyinder that has the rack gear built on it which drives a pinion type gear that turns the wiper arm back and forth. I put a little air tool oil in the wipers on my M50A2 water tanker right after I bought it and the...
The deal with the headbolt wrenches seems to be, if you use them to remove the head, you will break them. But if you use them to torque the head while installing head gaskets, and you oil the bolts properly, they don't break. I have experiece with a lot of these wrenches and, it really doesn't...
Wow, I thought I had a chance of finding the hydraulic press for my Shop Set #2 ( Gullwing ). Part of it was shown in one of the photos, but Pakistan is too far to drive. Seriously, my Gullwing is almost complete again, still need the swing away hydraulic press. If anyone...
Foot starter was standard on the original multifuel Hypercycle trucks, the fuel filter is similar to those on M37s and other MVs back a ways in time. They were effective and able to be taken apart and cleaned as good as new. But, very time consuming, I've done it.
Scooter, show the guys a...

The Napa filter that is better is a #3540. That may be the one you are looking for.
my Spin on secondary and final adaptors filter at 6 microns. The Baldwin sopin on that fits my adaptors is probably better than 6 micron. JT out
The ones being sold the last time were definitely not 900 series soft tops. I have installed 2 of them on my trucks and although slightly looser than my other vinyl tops, they are WAY too small for a 900 cab. If they are the same order # and they say for 2 1/2 ton deuce like they did before, I...
I have towed my M127A1 trailer around Upstate NY for several years and have to tell you, There is no speed or power available to a Deuce tractor(M275 A2) in hill country. Braking is not a problem, Tandem trailers will stop you faster than you want. I live in big hills, the Deuce tractor does not...
Yankee Deuce, If you put a radio in, you can cover the convoy south to Jersey, then talk to Art all the way to Aberdeen. I have the whole setup at the shop. JT out
Mr Bottle works, thank you for your apology on your incorrect cost of the filters for my adaptors, it is appreciated. May I also explain the filtering used in "my" system? It is 16 micron using Napa/Wix filters and 12 micron using Baldwin filters, the cartridge elements are 25 micron. Hercules...
