    I have one of these retired old workhorses too, picture attached. I am going to sell her now, we built a deuce cargo dump, a year newer and lighter empty. It can't haul the load my 5 ton can, but it's easy to get around with and cheaper to fuel. JT

    My A3 also has the CTIS unplugged at the control panel. No cover plate over the display though. I am hesitant to plug it back together, in case something is REAL wrong with the system. Someday, I will try it. JT out

    ever try inflating it with all the nuts off the bolts? Just asking, but if you use a clip on air chuck and get it outdoors and watch from behind a tree, if might work and could be a little fun to talk about on here sometime.

    There is a person who has adaptors to put spin-on filters on the multifuel engines, PM me for the information. They get the oil pressure up much faster at startup, and the fuel adaptors make changing filters a lot easier in the future.

    The instructions are very good, just bolt them on. the first one I did took 4 hours. all the rest were about 3 hours, start to finish. As someone else said, the hard part is mounting the air cylinder to the plate that mounts on the ubolts on the pass side. From there it is a cake walk. JT out

    Yes, Interagency Motorpool can sell you the sealing ring/cup that is the main part in the air cylinder. The manufacturer is saying that the rubber parts can be troublesome after sitting a long time. I have a kit here that was made in 1990, much older than the ones just sold on GL, they are 1996...
