I have to go pick up another M-105a2 trailer Saturday that I won last week. There was nobody there @ the yard this past weekend, so it will be this weekend as a pickup. Can't decide whether to pick it up with the Toyota or the Deuce, so it will probably be the Toyota Tacoma as it is less than 25...
You may have the "D" model turbo instead of the "C" whistler model that you remember. The "D" model offers more boost than the "C" model & it is quieter.
Welcome to the board!
If they came complete for the starting bid, it might be a fair gamble. As soon as things started breaking down, you might have different feeling about your purchase due to no availability of replacement parts. The Marines rode them hard & put them up wet, so to speak. With that in mind, plus the...
I have a 1 hp pump in a well that is 125' deep & any of my generators from 3Kw & up will run it, even the briggs & stratton 3Kw would start & run it before it was stolen during the 4 hurricane disaster in 2004! A 1/2 hp pump should be no problem on your generator unless your genset is not...
Sorry for not posting sooner, but I am not @ work where the computer will post pictures, being @ home after a chunk of my ear was removed for skin cancer a few weeks ago. The best I can describe what I got without pictures is the rubber sock banded to the shock absorber, with two studs sticking...
Already sold out, but shipping & having to buy a power cord kills the deal for me. I have a 9000 btu unit & when it kicks on, worrying about the generator noise goes away. The condenser fan goes from a expected low noise to super high, but it is better than being hot & muggy. Guys who got one...
I picked one up here in Florida about 2 years ago from GovPlanet, but you rarely see them any more. If you do see them, they are in a sad shape from sitting for so long unused. Your best bet would be to buy one from an owner here due to we take care of our equipment & run it. Good luck!
Yes & ask for Jeff as he personally took my order & shipped the airbags to me. Firestone will not sell direct to the public, they sell thru an authorized distributer which Perfection is the first one on the list. I believe that the units were $139 plus freight each & they were ordered in April...
OEM bags were a simple bolt in procedure unless your bolts are rusted solid which some of mine were & others will be the same way. These trucks were designed & assembled the same way by S&S until another contractor, Oshkosh, took over the contract.
No, $350.00 for both units including shipping, freight! They came from Firestone thru an authorized distributer.
Found it, it was Perfection Equipment & Jeff was the contact parts guy. It took seven weeks to get the airbags, but worth it.
I replaced both airbags & posted here when I got them & the prices. I believe it was less than $350.00 delivered. I will see if I can find the thread & reference it here!
No thread, just bought a Genius 7200 charger & plug a bolt into the positive center of the slave port & connect the positive lead to the bolt. The negative lead goes to the ground bolt on the side of the slave port & plug in the charger. Set the charger for standard or AGM batteries & let it do...
I cheat by making sure the batteries are fully charged by connecting a Genius charger thru the slave port & letting it stay there till there is nothing but a solid green or slowly pulsing green light. This keeps the batteries hot & not sitting with a low charge that will eventually kill them...
My voltmeter is wonky also as it indicates in the green till the engine warms up, them drops into the yellow zone. The voltage @ the slave port shows 26.8 volts during this same time frame. If the lighting control is switched to service, powering up the headlights & associated markers, the...
The further East it goes, the better off we Floridians are, this change in track is a blessing. The place I work shut down till Thursday in anticipation of the storm.
Good looking truck you have waiting for the EUC to clear. Uncle Sugar seems to move the EUC requirement all around different equipment & items as he sees fit. There is no rhyme or reason, just what shows up as a "Q" demil, or the spinner lands on this week.
Just be patient & your new to you...
