Building a 16 bay dipole antenna to get over air digital TV...hope it works. I'll build another for Chicago stations if this one, pointed at Fort Wayne, performs well. Notice the use of fiberglass seat components. It's really rigid. This is in-process build. I have a lot to do, putting on...
Yes, trailer and truck are the same (if OEM). There are a lot of 9.00 that would make the trip and are left over from someone going bigger. I would not change until you have a plan and know other issues are behind you.
Yes William. The photo of your A2 and my A3 is the position I thought was used with the budd duals and the A3 singles, dish in. Recovery4x4 says budds run with the narrow setup... I didn't know that. They sure ar too narrow for a bud ran as a single.
Recovery4x4, Your second truck photo has them in the outer position, wide, where the first truck is narrow like your hub detail. Mine is standard for the A3, but from what you say, the budd duals on A2 have your hub detail as "standard". Flipped is relative to where one starts.
Your second...
To have the dish out (rear) with my A3 wheels, the hub needs turned to the narrow position. Bearing is in proper position then, about center of the tire. The "standard" position is not dish out on the A3, it is dish in, as shown. Putting the hub at the wide position and dish out is not...
Here is my A3 rear wheel and the axle removed. The standard position is with the wheel dish in and the hub in the wide position as shown in the photo.
Yes, to turn the wheel to dish out, the bolt holes need chamfer but the hub needs turned also so the flange is in the narrow position. Photo...
That makes sense. As far as air, there is forward and reverse, but with air dumped, the spring takes it to neutral. I'll concede but still don't recall a neutral position.
Personally I like fine, gr8, machine washer under the head and a flange nut (can be hard to find in fine thread).
Really, compared to the wheel studs, any combo works for strength and is unlikely any will come loose. This bolt is holding the steel adaptor plate to the thick aluminum wheel...
They haul perfect on a uhaul car trailer with straw bales in the wheel tracks...for recovery....like if you sold it without a trailer. A regular PU can pull one long distance.
The sprag clutch uses air to shift forward to reverse. It could be in a bind if it is not shifting...possibly....
You should research the tranny. Tthe sprag is a one way clutch that releases the gears from a difference in gear ratio back 16/1 and front 17/1 or something like that. Can you...
I used a 7k dexter trailer axle on one and ran the 8x6.5" hmmwv wheels. I use the ford van wheels on my 1101 weld trailer to bring it down too. If I remember, the bearings of a 105 are rated 20k each, so I've never thought of it being light duty. In fact, I'm building a tandem with 2 m105...
Why are you putting such a heavy axle with a differential under an m105? The OEM axle on an M105 seems very heavy and there are many different wheel options, like the super singles from an m35A3 to get 20" or 16.5" bolster wheels with HMMWV tires,.....to the Isuzu budds in 19.5".
The OEM...
I have to ask Jbulach, looks like the battery switch is not switching the line to the starter. Is that correct and does it keep the high amps from cranking from going through the switch?
Yea
Yea, with SS management just deleting the offending account, it takes away our ability to go back and get their communications that went through SS.....and in my case, SS didn't give me a heads up although looking at the PM would shown who they had contacted.
The 1400CCA 8D is massive battery. O Reilly just quoted $205 each (I have account). They are large enough that the wood underneath has to be removed. It's the best deal going in my opinion with massive cca.
My hawkers seem to have no reserve and the conditioning charger does not work on mine...
Let me get this clear, the hubs are set up with the flange in the wide position for duels but you have one half budd dual on it and no outer wheel. As opposed to the flange set up in the narrow position, flange against the drum......which I don't think will accept the budd with the dish in...
