6 bolt to 4 bolt. 700r4 has 27 spline so need 27 spline input from 208 that fits into my 218. 700r4 needs adapter to fit 218. 6 hole to 4 hole... but that is only from what i researched....open to any input..

Is this thread dead? My set up will be 700r4..Advance Adapters 51-6901....NP218 with Input gear from an NP208.... All same length when bolted together and fits cross member. No mods... This is what I have found recently in my research .. Just need to find a donor 700R4 I can rebuild...
Quick question.. does the ESSS only control glow plug heating ? If a manual system was to be put in, in its place, would one have to continue to use the box for any other ancillary features ??? Besides the Wait to Start light 😬
Done plenty of searching, but just can’t come to a conclusion... What glow plugs you guys running and what success you having with them.. I have an S3 and 6.5l GEP NA.. Thanks for replies and don’t ask me to do another search unless you can post a link.. I think I’ve seen most of em...
Just run one belt, carry the spare.. when and if it breaks, swap it out... just a thought... but I wouldn't do it.. Stryker makes a nice set of matched belts if you're interested. I can put you in touch with a rep. ;)
Start here... Check voltage, then see what exactly what you're dealing with. It's a good video on 60 amp regulator adjustment and output. If not in spec, continue with other measures.. 28-28.5 volts output is where the sweet spot is at about 1500rpm.... After that, if things aren't going good...
Well well well.. been a few days... been busy.. work and what not. Aggravating spouse... Where you going she asks, so I quit telling her I going to swoon on the M998.😂. So I worked on cleaning out the beast.. Must been 3 hours power washing after removing vital components.. Then I bagged...
Thanks everyone.. I will just do more due diligence and get the calipers out and find a suitable replacement.. I just figured someone on here might have replaced there boots and not entire joint... When I find one I’ll post for anyone that wants to replace there’s 👍🏼
I've looked extensively. Can anyone offer up an option for a boot cover for my radius arm/tie rod ball joint on a 88 m998 ....PLEASE .. I've checked to ball joint and it's fine, nice and tight and fully contained.. just need the BOOT... so tired of looking. My eyeballs are bleeding.
Thanks...
