There is a tool to remove the pulley as well as a separate tool to install. Any parts store will have them in their loaner tools like autozone, O'reilly, advance, and better Napa's. Does not cost anything to use these tools just a deposit till return.
Pulley typically installed flush with the...
Wow, never seen that configuration on the trailer. Must be a very special application. Those gizmos in the rear must have held something heavy to put the generators and all that tongue weight on the front. Please post more pics and pics of the data plates. I see one on the rear middle maybe it...
should be very easy to find in a junkyard. Look for any 70-80's 8 lug wheels for Chevy/Gmc 3/4 20 series & 1 ton 30 series trucks or vans. All the same till they switched to metric studs and lugs. Metric will not work.
Also dodge will be the same. Difference on a dodge is the hub circle will be...
Interesting as I have seen some drivetrains listed on GP in Al and was wandering where they might have come out of.... Pm if you prefer, Just curious..........
It has a bleed valve/petcock on the air tank if the brakes are locked if a valve is not working properly. Had to do that on a m105 I recovered. Same system as a m105/m103 but 2 axles.
Once the air is bled off if you had any, brakes are ok. No need to cage as there are no brake chambers just old...
Having done just a little work underneath on a m1101/2 ; As stated by Mainsail, it would be an intensive project to remove the bed. It is not simply bolted down like a M101 to the frame.
The m101 series could be another option for you. They are steel but not that much heavier and narrower than...
Could you just have some flat stock cut and drill your own holes? You could actually make them wider, thicker, and beefier that the oe.
on a 5 ton when I installed global air ride seats, I just made my own supports underneath cab.
That is a common civy reflector with the mounting bracket painted military colors . Pm your address and if you need red or yellow. Glad to pay it forward. Make a donation to ss chaplain fund👍
Your rear frame is tweaked and bent. That bracket does not look like the normal rear stabalizer at...
Replacing is easy.
Also order a new mounting rubber seal. Mine was shot.
Put in rivnuts and it will make it easier if you ever need to remove.
A very worth while safety upgrade. Even where I live, my truck rolled in my driveway in flat land. Very easy to bump and disengage original design.
Don't forget to turn the heater on and get the nasties from there also. I would recommend plumbing in a universal coolant filter spin on. Well worth the extra trouble in my opinion. It can have chemical or not. That is up to you if you want to test.
Did you test the batteries before you replaced the alt?
I have a feeling you had multiple issues with bad batteries being one. If you had bad batteries, put in a new alt, the old batteries have released the magic smoke.....
Go with longer as it makes it easier. If using a mile marker, then reverse the direction- Screw one in while pulling the old one out. Jack up to take weight off, makes it a breeze.
Actually just recently saw a jeep that did that. Caught my eye as they painted the shackle red. That shackle looks familiar......right down to the bolt and nut to hold it on.
