Make certain that the cable isn't bent at a large angle at that spot. And as Jeepadict mentioned, make sure the gears are greased. Also, make sure the cable itself is lubricated.
The hydraulic tools on the FLU419 are made by Stanley Infrastructure. You undoubtedly have a Stanley Infrastructure dealer near you in Colorado. If not, I have purchased repair parts from the following dealer in Georgia.

Not sure if it would help. I didn't do it. Removing he light switch only helps if ROPS was installed and the light switch was relocated to the right. The TM is actually very good at describing the process of switching the MC, but doesn't mention the part about the light switch. Be careful of...
If your A2 had ROPS installed, the light switch was moved over. If you remove the light switch, you have better access to the bolts for the MC. Just follow the TM to remove the master cylinder, I did it and it wasn't that difficult and I also have large hands. I replaced my MC with an NOS...
Does anyone have a photo of the back of the ignition switch with the wires attached? The mice, or a rat, chewed off all of the wires from the switch and took the wires away to build a nest. Unfortunately, the nubbins of the wires left on the switch don't match the schematic entirely. It is...
Transfer switches aren't that expensive, especially if you consider the potential downside for not having one. I found a brand new 400 Amp Square D manual transfer switch on Ebay for use with my MEP003A for a couple hundred dollars. There is only one way to do things and that is the correct...
I have an M149A2 water buffalo trailer with a 400-gallon stainless steel tank like the one you have pictured. I pull it around on my 40 acres with my John Deere 5520 tractor. It works great. However, you have to be careful, especially if you are on uneven or hilly ground. The water will...
Did anyone see the FLU419 that just sold on Bring a Trailer? It was located in North Carolina. Went for $32,000.00 and no hydraulic tools.

I had a problem with my right outrigger. Like yours, it would go down and not stop until fully extended and I couldn't get it to go back down without beating on the lever with a hammer or rock. In my case, the piston was severely corroded. Fortunately, I found an NOS valve assembly for the...
Trickle chargers and maintainers aren't designed to charge dead batteries. You need to get a real battery charger, and if you have AGM batteries, make sure you have a charger designed to charge AGM batteries. You are much better off charging each battery separately at 12 VDC instead of both...
It really does work. When I received my M1030M1 diesel motorcycle it had an Odyssey AGM battery in it. Dead as a doornail. Using the recovery process. I was able to save the battery, but it took over a week. I was able to use the battery for almost a year and a half before it really did die...
I have Super Start 51-R AGMs in some of my equipment. I have been completely happy with them and the extra power. They are also made in the U.S. unlike the Mexican Odyssey batteries. I got good service from Odyssey batteries until they relocated manufacturing to Mexico.
