but what would cause a pump not to idle ?

i turned the idle screw all the way down( to turn up the idle) and it has no effect. ill keep trying that. but it just dies as soon as i take my foot off the throttle and it wont even start with out giving it some throttle.

Anyone have any ideas why it wont idle?

i had my intake off and on to day in less than an hour. :P

i ran it for about 10 min with my foot on the gas still dies. i checked the return ball and it works so im dunno.

Yay it ran some what. I got it to start i had to bleed the fuel system and then it would run but it would not run with out my foot in it(idle issues I think). I noticed I had fuel leaking down the back of the motor between in the engine and transmission. I checked all the fuel line fittings on...

did you take the intake off yet?

use a few ratchet extensions and get it from the front of the pump near the fire wall.
