LOL Yeah I understand. What kind of mods did you make to pump? So far I have made the dual fuel line mod. I plan to install a turbo and after that I may install a little bigger injectors.
I Agree don't scrap it. Was it smoking heavy in a white or gray color while knocking? It is possible it could have a bent push tube or valve train causing your knock.

Yeah on performance. I am adding a turbo to mine before I install tires like that but it would be nice to see a little more speed which you will most likely get

I am wanting to do the same to my '86 M931 and I would like to see the after project complete pictures. Did you install the oil cooler as well from the white? asking because I see the front end of the water manifold. How well did the after cooler fit?
